In this video, I upcycled an old faux Christmas wreath and turn it into a Winter woodland-themed wreath. I also use some natural dried fruits and foliage to create a mini wreath using cardboard as a base. Also, I share how to dry an orange in the oven and turn it into dried orange slices for decor use. I hope you enjoy it!

  4. Wow, the wreath is so beautiful and so reflective of you and your backyard. I liked the second one because it is so natural. Your ideas are so beautiful.

  5. Hi Catherine! Your wreaths are lovely, the woodland critters are my favorite. We had our first major snowfall a couple of nights ago and it's cold enough that it has stayed on the ground. Ah well, winter…it's inevitable, isn't it. Thanks so much for sharing. ox ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚

  7. Great idea for a "Winter wreath " its a lovely idea to have some cheer the other side of the holidays. I'm just off to raid my recycle bin for a cardboard box!! ๐ŸคฃHope you feel better soon.xx

  8. The thing you especially liked in the pic n mix is star aniseed. A spice which added to mulled wine along with the usual cloves and cinnamon sticks is lovely!

  13. Love your wreaths Catherine. Definitely winter wreaths. Keep them up until spring. Did these kinds of wreaths years ago when my Christmas decorations were Williamsburg style. Fell in love with that a long time ago. Even dried orange slices & cranberries for wreath & tree decorations. Was so fun to do. Another fun thing to do is sugar coated fruits in a decorative dish. Dip the fruits, usually lemons & oranges, in beaten egg white, then dip in sugar, cover completely. Let dry and stack prettily in a pretty bowl or compote dish. Sooo pretty & magical looking. Well, canโ€™t wait for your next decorating video. So enjoyable. Thanks for sharing youโ€™re good ideas. Hugs from Pennsylvania. Btw, do you follow Liz from Traditions by the Seasons on YouTube ? Her channel is inspiring. Decorating, occasionally crafting. ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป๐Ÿฅฐ
