► Kenrokuen Garden is regarded as one of Japan’s three most beautiful landscape gardens, covering an area of 11.4 hectares located on the heights of Cental Kanazawa, next to Kanazawa Castle.

There is a stone lantern designed in the image of a Japanese koto (*harp) by the pond, this has become the symbol of Kenrokuen.
The grounds has plenty of water features, bridges, teahouses, trees, flowers, stones, viewpoints and hidden paths to discover.

It’s an amazing garden, and clearly a lot of attention has been put into every little detail there. I can’t promise I won’t upload a “white winter version” of this one in the future. – Enjoy!
