Harvest data shows Illinois farmers were at 88% of the corn harvest
completed on November 6th. Over 10 million acres of corn were planted in Illinois
Making corn the number one crop in our state. More than 100,000 Illinoisans have jobs thanks to corn, and thanks to farmers.
The Illinois Corn Growers Association meets at the AsMark AgriCenter next week and the agenda is a good one! The speaker lineup includes: Dr. Yuval Weber, discussing Ukraine conflicts and it’s effect on U.S. and global agriculture, Johnathan Coppess’s address on the 2023 Farm Bill, Eric Snodgrass speaking about weather, forecasting and the impact on dry rivers as well as the President of the National Corn Growers
