  1. 12:50 Contrary to what you see in modern fantasy, with thin frail elf rangers and stuff like that, archers in history were muscular. In order to shoot an arrow a long distance to pierce armor the archer would need to apply a great amount of force to a stiff bow. Often archers were trained from a very young age to develop the muscles and bone structure for this. King Edward III of England passed a law that said "… every man … if he be able-bodied, shall, upon holidays, make use, in his games, of bows and arrows… and so learn and practise archery."

  2. I knew we'd be playing as Atreus at some point. I really like his playstyle; he's much faster than Kratos. Although it stresses me out he's using his bow as a melee weapon too, not to mention opening chests with it lmao

  3. I love in sections like this how the Game definitely has more lighthearted moments. They absolutely nailed the dialogue and fleshing out the characters more. Atreus is super fun to play too ^^

  4. I feel like Freya pushed away Atreus not because he offended her or anything like that – but because he was getting through to her. She felt herself wavering – and this was what caused her to lash out.

Maybe the seed of doubt has been planted though.

  5. I love when Atreus imitates Kratos, especially when he's talking to himself. Very cute, and relatable

  6. Whenever the map shows 'shores of the nine' in that old runic font I read it as 'snores of the nine'.

  7. 34:10 Even getting good results doesn't do much in the trust question. He's still hiding stuff and doing stuff behind his back, which is the primary trust problem.

  8. 44:00 Well psychologists have already studied that and the answer is regretting doing something is better than regretting not doing it. Not doing something basically stays with you forever, while people do get over regrets about making mistakes over time.

  9. 52:05 You think you can shoot the one on the right in its ass so it drops its skirt? That does look similar to those sounds arrow seals after all.

  10. I know it's a magic item and probably stronger that way, but it still bothers me to see Atreus use his bow for whacking
