  1. Hi and thank you for info, Yuliya. I only wish I had enough space to plant any of these next to my deck. I only have about a 2' width. I'd love Privacy on my deck from my neighbors view thats right on it, and upclose πŸ™„ . Hi Mishka 🐾❀️ what a doll πŸ€—

  2. You’ve inspired me to start mulling over a design to screen our neighbors’ house. We like them but man, their dining room window looks directly across the meadow to our driveway. I don’t think they can help but gaze in our direction, and ditto for us.

  3. Oh Yuliya πŸ˜‚. I had to laugh when you showed your digging on fast speed. I couldn’t tell that you had a pick ax in your hands and I thought you were taking the shovel and trying to kill some wild pest in the holeπŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€ͺ. You worked so hard and are inspirational in your designs. You also give good information about the plants that you are highlighting. Thanks.

  4. This video couldn’t have come at a perfect time! I’m also in NJ (CA transplant) and attempting a similar project w/Arborvitae. 🌲 Thank you so much for your knowledge & advice! ❀ PS – can’t wait to see how your woodland garden comes together! πŸ₯°

  5. Thanks for sharing with us this project! I was wondering what other evergreen tree can replace our struggling green emerald arborvitae. American Pillar arborvitae would probably be a good choice for us too besides it's hight. What do you think about Junior Green Giant arborvitae?

  6. To everyone, all those red potted evergreens at the big box stores will be half off the day after Christmas or even before. If you buy a bunch, you can probably get an even better deal.

  7. Thank you Yuliya, now I know the difference, I will definitely get a couple of Pillar Arborvitaes. You certainly got your workout digging and planting those, they look beautiful!

  8. Hi Yuliya. Where did you get your arbor? I really like it and am looking for something similar. Do you like yours? Thanks for the video! I didn't know about the American Pillar arb.

  9. Good tips, thinking about the backside when planting and knowing their roots are not aggresive. How do you deal with pets urine? My sister planted small 3'-4' fruit trees and the male dog just goes aroung irritating! Could you do a video on this topic. Thanks Yuliya

  10. Thank you again this video was a great help these American Pillars will for my screening projdct.

  11. Hi Yulia, i just bought 10 emerald green arborvitae from Home Depot and plan on making a separation hedge through my garden to divide a large flowerbed from my vegetable garden . I don’t have a fence to guide me when planting and I’m a bit worried about getting the trees in a straight line , any suggestions?

  12. Those look so pretty.
Here in Minnesota, people wrap their arbs with burlap. Between deer and snow, it protects them.
My favorite tool is my cordless reciprocating saw. I have removed so many tree roots that way. Rocky situation may not work so well. I have sandy soil.

  13. Come see the arbitvitae that are about twenty years old around the tennis courts that the deer have pruned into lollipops:) at Mercer County Community College!
