I’m envious of your weather. I’m in Illinois and had to prepare for winter and do garden clean up in September. I also have a ton of hostas on the property, such resilient plants. I love your fence and I believe extending it downhill was a great idea. Stay warm 🤗 ♥️
Yay! Your fence is complete. I have a slope in my yard as well, haven’t decided what to do with it as yet. I have some construction to do, so will wait and see for now.
Where do you store your small containers for the winter and what do you cover them with ?
Thank you for the update on the fence. I do know that good labor is extremely hard to come by these days. In my area they are begging people to fill vacant positions, hopefully or regrettably that was the problem Lowes was facing? The pandemic has really turned our world upside down. 🍁🍂🍁🦃💚🙃

Sorry you had such a trying time with your fence. It seems like it is difficult to find reliable service these days. Lowes has independent contractors performing their installs, so you never know what you're going to get. It is good that you are allowing yourself time to think about future yard upgrades – Rome wasn't built in a day😊. Since your yard slants, you may need a retaining wall, else added dirt will probably wash away. Take care.
I would do a raised flower bed on that section of slant…agree on no more dirt "fill".

How do you keep weeds out? My flowerbeds are full of weeds. I pull and they come right back.
