How cool, Jill! When I worked in Washington, DC, I went out one day to pick up some lunch at a small grocery two blocks from my office. Before proceeding to the cash register, I walked over to the big plate glass window where I saw a group of people standing on the other side of it. After I spotted a film camera a short distance away, it slowly dawned on me that I was looking at a film crew. Then, I recognized a man standing on the other side of the window, no more than four feet away. It was Harrison Ford. Another man, standing with him, looked like the film's director, Sidney Pollack. I realized then why it the garage where I parked my car had been so crowded that morning. The film was "Random Hearts" — not one of their best, but I'll always have fond memories of it.
Another small town that have had movies made in is Smithville, Tx ( Hope floats and some others had places in Smithville in their movies). There was a John Wayne remake movie that was filmed in another small town called Blanco. I can't remember the name off hand.
I work at a restaurant in Greenville and yesterday a guest came in with a Yellowstone polo on. Initially I thought it was a local cattle company, but then I remembered the TV show. So I thought maybe he was a fan wearing show merch. But now that I know they are filming in our area I wonder if he was a crew member? Pretty cool that they are filming here. I know a lot of local fans must be excited about it!
How awesome is that. When we owned our 64.5 acre horse ranch we hosted the Budweiser Clydesdales at our home and in our barn. They invited us to their filming of the commercial they were filming in our area of Austin TX for the superbowl that yr. In fact in their making video that is on YT I was caught on their camera with my grandchildren. What a fun day to sightsee them. We enjoy Yellowstone!
I loved this. I like to do things like this. It was like taking a girl trip with you. I never have watched Yellowstone. I usually just stay on youtube. Your hair looks pretty. It,s pretty cold here. Love you all

I remember watching "Places Of The Heart". starring Sally Field, and Sidney Portier? (maybe 🤔 wrong on that one).

WRONG. 🤣

With all of the eclectic little towns in TX, why Venus?
