Welcome all! Here I am on another driveway cleaning job. This one was to help out one of my neighbours that had fallen victim to shameless, unscrupulous thieves, that had broken into his garage and helped themselves to his petrol/gas pressure washer, petrol/gas lawn mower and some other valuable gardening equipment .

This neighbour likes to meticulously clean his driveway every few years using his own pressure washer, and this was going to be the year that he would clean it again. Due to the recent break in, and loss of his pride and joy equipment, this wasn’t going to be possible, as he would have to wait until his insurance paid up, which he said they were dragging their feet doing, so wasn’t expecting a payment anytime soon.

So to help him out, I got in touch with his wife, we arranged a time for me to visit when we knew there was no chance of him arriving home from work early, and spoiling the surprise. His wife said she was happy for me to record the cleaning process, but said there is no way he or she would want to be recorded and put on YouTube, so please don’t film them. This was a shame, as i’d loved to have got his reaction on camera (which was priceless by the way) but I had to listen, and respect the request of his wife, so unfortunately that’s just not something i could show. I hope you enjoy watching the transformation regardless. All the best to you all, Nick.

  1. Okay! I used to roll my eyes at all the “I’m first!” comments. But suddenly I get it. It’s absurdly satisfying!

  2. What a gleaming beauty that driveway turned out to be! And you’re looking like a beauty yourself with your kind gesture for a friend. I know he must have been bowled over when he pulled into his drive! Excellent job by an excellent man!

  3. Thanks for a great video! I enjoyed watching it. I suspect something like this happens in the States but the grand homes that might employ it are well beyond my simple life. It is good, then, to see it on video. Thanks again, George from Florida

  4. Smashing job Nick. Your kindness will, hopefully, restore their faith in humanity after being victimized. We must take care of each other.
