6 spots in the video.

1) 0:50 ~Enyo-tei~
This building was used as a living room for clan lords when they visited Korakuen. It was built in its present location since the garden was first constructed, and the garden was designed so that the view from the main room where the feudal lord sat would be most beautiful. It was destroyed by fire during the war, but in 1960, it was restored using the best techniques and first-rate materials of the time, based on the “Ochaya Go-ezu” that depicts Korakuen as it was when the garden was built.

2) 1:04 ~Mosho-an~
The temple was destroyed in the war and rebuilt in 1952. Located in Nishiki-gaoka, it has a calm and serene appearance. It can be rented only for use as a tea ceremony room.

3) 1:19 ~Mountain of Yushin~ (Mt. Yushin)
Completed around 1735, it is located almost in the center of Korakuen Garden and was designed so that the entire garden can be seen from the top, and Mt.
When the garden was built, Korakuen Garden was flat, but with the construction of Mt.
The garden is a three-dimensional garden, and the castle tower of Okayama Castle in the background is used as a borrowed landscape.

4) 1:32 ~Ryuuten~
The first floor of this unusual building is open-air with no exterior walls, and six stones are placed inside to draw in running water. It was used by the feudal lord of Okayama as a resting place for his guests as they walked around Korakuen Garden and as a reception for guests. While many buildings were destroyed by fire during an air raid in 1945, this is one of the precious buildings that escaped damage and retains its original appearance today. The Ryuuten is very cool, and a quiet look at it reminds us of the successive lords of the feudal domain who rested here.

5) 1:55 ~Island Teahouse~
This teahouse is located on an island in Sawano-ike, the largest pond in the park.
It was built during the reign of the 5th feudal lord Ikeda Harumasa and the 6th feudal lord Ikeda Nari-masa, before the drawing of the map in 1863. It is one of the buildings that survived the war and still retains the appearance it had when it was restored after flood damage in 1934.

6) 2:10 ~Okayama Castle~
Okayama Castle was built by Ukita Hideie, who became a feudal lord and was treated by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who became the ruler of Japan, as if he were a relative of Hideyoshi, and it took eight years to build the castle under Hideyoshi’s guidance.
After undergoing major renovations in Reiwa, the castle reopened on November 3, 2022! Inside the castle, there is an elevator and exhibits are displayed.
The castle is located next to the Korakuen Garden, so it is recommended to purchase a common ticket for both the Korakuen Garden and Okayama Castle.
