Love this! 🙂 Thanks for your passion and green-wisdom. I have a home in Chicago and rural so. west France. I have a huge property which came with the house and now at 66 I'm turning into the accidental farmer. I def. have a green thumb. I actually won a Blue Prize Ribbon for my garden from Mayor Daley's Office about 25 years ago. (I didn't even know I was being considered as I never entered into it). I know nothing about plants. I do know colors, and textures, as I'm an artist but not when it comes to what needs to be planted in shade, sun or semi-shade. This is the first time I'm planting bushes so I'm concerned about their taking root and thriving. I don't know how to speak French so it's difficult being on my own searching for the right choices. I'm not asking any questions here. I'm just expressing to those who want to start gardening to go with their instincts. If they're interested in gardening, even as a newbie, it means they have a passion somewhere from inside and that passion will guide you. I must say, the earth where I live is amazing. Everything grows so quickly. Even my finger nails grow rapidly as they're always in the earth. Be safe to all. 🙂 JAsper
