Gardening in Containers has many advantages, especially with cold weather approaching.
Let me show you one of the main reasons to garden in containers.

  3. I have two pepper plants that I kept alive for like three years I believe now two of the years I planted on the garden and pulled them up before the first Frost this year I just kept them in a pot and grill them that way they're in my garage right now about to go to my greenhouse once I can keep it warm in there need a seal it up and stuff

  4. I have a bunch of 4” pvc pipe…would that work instead of the black pipe on the bottom?!! Really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming…learned a lot. You seem to be a very nice person πŸ‘!!

  5. Can't wait for the comparison video between wicking tubs, grow bags and earth boxes. I use the wicking tubs now and raised beds.

  6. You are very wise to be selective with the scale of what you grow. I made the mistake of getting’a little’ carried away this year, ha ha. When I figured out that I was going to be home a lot due to Covid, my love of gardening took over my good sense. I canned beans, tomato products, etc., all summer long. Let’s just say I don’t recommend planting 98 foot rows of anything unless you know what you are doing with all of it. I do still plan to garden, and some in my earth garden, larger scale. But a family of 4 can only eat so much okra, melons, etc. Love your videos!! Melody B in NC

  7. Woke up this morning and my tomato's are frozen .. lol .. but thank u .. listened to u and finally got them to grow this year .. so cross fingers next year I will have good tomato's ..next year a bigger and better garden

  8. Thanks for sharing . We are in the Houston area and your videos are very helpful … This is our first year homesteading and we are growing everything in containers also …. Just wanted to say Thanks for all of the info you put out … Happy Holidays to you and your family !

  9. We got to 31 last night in San Marcos. Supposed to get down to 27. My baby eggplant didn't make it. Brought in my lemon and olive trees in pots. Your jalapeΓ±os look great. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡±

  10. Hi Alan. Great video. I use growbags. I have 10 & 15 gallon. I put them in a 10 gallon concrete mixing tub. This is a 20"wide by 28" long by 7" deep plastic tub. It cost $5.95 at Home Depot… and can easily hold two, or three of the smaller growbags. This system works great.

  11. If you like jalapeΓ±o flavor without the heat, why not try nadapenos ? I want to try habanadas this spring.

  12. this life is temporary and the very good news is that we have salvation by believing in Jesuchrist

Romans 10: 9 and 10 believe by faith in your heart and call on his name only he saves

nothing else does st jhon 3:16 ..

  13. I bought grow bags for the first time . I will use them in spring. Can’t wait. Learning, I’m new to gardening. Last year my first garden was in a kiddie pool! It was so fun. I had no idea that peppers and tomatoes don’t grow well together. Now I know.. the tomatoes did great. Peppers not so great. This year I’ll do better! 😊

  14. Thank you for your videos, you really explain things well for people like me ! I’m grateful! I live in Texas also, have you grown an avacado tree yet? I love them so much. I would love to grow one. Not sure if I should wait till I get experienced. But I would like your take on it. I’m in north Texas. I’m guessing they aren’t very easy to grow. I’m wanting to stick with container gardening for now.
