This could possibly be the biggest yard restoration on YouTube right now! This yard is completely overgrown and quite out of control. The owner and her partner both have medical issues, are on low incomes due to these conditions, and are unable to maintain the yard. The son, who also lives at home, is either a bit lazy or not the outdoors type. Either way, they need help, and the lady was over the moon when I offered to clean up for free. It will probably take a while to get this transformation done, (4+ episodes) over several weeks, and I will do every nook and cranny to the highest possible standard.

FAQ’s:
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don’t you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I’m not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I’m not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That’s the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!
Q: Why dont you have help?
A: Ive had a lot of problems with employees in the past, so I now work alone.
Q: Why dont you have a ride-on mower?
A: Weel there are a few reasons.
1. Currently, I don’t do enough jobs like his to justify spending 15k on a good ride on mower.
2. I don’t have anywhere to store it.
3. A lot of the properties we do have fences and gates, so you can’t actually get a ride on in there.
4. I don’t have the right trailer for a ride on, considering we always take the green waste away.
5. I will get one as soon as all of the above are solved!

Somebody should make an edger with a small shovel on the other end.
🙂🙂
Last week's area has greened up beautifully. Nice to see the cordyline stump ct to the ground too. I always admire your clean as you go method.
Here's an odd job: Go around painting peoples' iron railings.
Cabbage trees have a surprising volume of leaves which you don’t want to whip with the weedeater they wrap around the head and you can spend an afternoon pulling them out plus the leaves end up splitting into threads like hemp rope. They will regrow so may need to poison or dig out the roots if you don’t want ot back.
A good clean up you do a magnificent job.. send some of your weather over to us in uk.
Good job😁👍…hi from 🇲🇾
Love the way you work – one area at a time. It’s going to be such a relief for that family when you are finished. 👏👏👍👍
The dog was dissatisfied with the fact that she was not offered to participate in the work! Well, a lot of noise for her ears! it is also amazing how much rubbish was placed in such a tiny corner near the porch!
I don't even have a garden and I want one of those strimmers. Obsessed with them 😍 How would you get rid of that cordyline stump?
Just watching this video now. I have missed a few but just wondering what has happened to your help…the new lad?
Nice clean up George the lady will be so happy with your work. I hope you can find an assistant soon because I know this back breaking work. As always Travel and Stay Safe 🇺🇸.
Great transformation as always you do amazing job god bless
😇👍👍👍💯
Great job. Greetings from Poland
Amazing how nature will always takeover everything! Great job squaring this place up. Looking thru the gate, the back yard is even worse.
Good job 👍
3:22 if that is a rented house the tree stays
I don't know George, looks like the rest of the side and the back you're going to need a hay cutter to get through all that tall grass or some goats😉Those bushes would look great trimmed back to look like trees, if possible. I like that you cut those plants by the entryway, now she needs a pressure washer job on that porch and stairs. I can't wait for the next one. You are doing great.
Awesome video
George, it’s inspiring to watch how you work.
Once that yard got away from them, it probably began to seem impossible to fix. Hopeless.
It takes someone from outside to see it from a different viewpoint, breaking to each individual task down to workable units to make it seem less impossible. Once the job is started, in this manner, it becomes just daily maintenance on finished portions, then start a new overgrown portion to overcome. Amazing to see it happen at an accelerated pace, to actually see you look at the whole. Break it down to individual tasks then start the methodical process of reducing it all to a manageable level of work each day. What once seemed hopeless, in the eyes of homeowners, becomes manageable, maybe even astonishingly simple. A h..l of a lot of work! But doable…
From Missouri USA.
Great job!
Looking forward to part three.
Love your work George. I really like how u make decisions whilst u work for eg. deleting that useless log on that front garden bed. Looked 50x times better! Cant wait for next ep!
I'm loving the continuation of this massive clean-up! There's something so incredibly satisfying about seeing something that's been so let go get turned around and look like something nice. I hope you'll be able to trim that huge shrub by the house really hard so they can get some light in through those windows. I have a feeling the inside is probably about as bad as the outside, sadly. Hopefully what you are doing will help them find a bit of motivation. I am sure the neighbours are over the moon!
Huge job 😮
También venden equipamiento para jardín, me parece muy bien, y george, se ve regio de negro 👌👋👋
Is this a hoarders house?
Du bist ja immer noch alleine. Keiner der Dir helfen möchte??? Einfach nur wundervolle Ergebnisse. Du bist der Beste 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🥰🥰🥰
Здравствуйте,отличная работа!👍👍🥰🌳🌲
Hello Georges, quel beau travail !
Wow……Just Wow! That was a LOT of work and the improvement is fantastic. Looking at the drapes and the stuff at the window, it makes me think of a horders home. Hope that is not the case. Also hope the son steps up his game and helps out more. Dang good job.
What happened to your helpers? The work you seems like a lot for one person.
