http://amzn.to/2iNqgfq Starting a strawberry garden patch in your vegetable garden doesn’t have to be complicated. Here are the basics for growing strawberries, how to grow strawberries from runners, and how to plant new strawberry plants. Decide where you want your strawberry beds, dig out any rocks or weeds, and add topsoil or soil amendments to improve your soil if needed. Rake your new strawberry garden smooth, and nestle the strawberries runners into the soil about 4-6 inches apart. Keep the strawberry runner plants moist, and watch them grow into strawberry plants. Before you know it, you will have a wonderful crop of strawberries to enjoy. Your strawberry patch will continue to produce ripe, delicious strawberries with a bit of care each year.
