  1. This was a great idea! I have met Dr. Jones and she is such an inspirational type person. She definitely knows her stuff.

  2. Thanks so much for the analogy of the gardener.  As a white male, I hate racism, even though I admit I don't even know all of my own biases and I may even contribute to institutionalized racism.  Yet, I feel no control.  I feel like the red flower, who the gardener prefers.  I feel like I can't even talk to the gardener and I'm angry with the gardener.

  3. It's been 3 years and I still find this video interesting. Anyone in the comment section still remember this channel?

  4. Why are we stuck on this idea of feeding into something we or most hate? I’m referring to racism. Looks as though this was made in 2008 and someone just referred this to me today. 🙄 If we can realize that in order to fight racism you have to confront it when it occurs. Being a victim will not erase it. This kind of propaganda perpetuates racism. We have moved forward as a society and if we don’t see this we will stay stuck in this thought of systemic thinking. Stop separating us because of skin color something we cannot change. Embrace it and move on. See me as a person not a white, black, yellow or brown person…It’s ok to be whatever color you are…stick to the golden rule and respect each other. And when you see racism…confront it.

  5. DEEP. And to think, the pink seeds actually created the GREAT conditions and the GREAT soil for the red seeds to grow into beautiful flowers. But I love the idea that the survival of the pink seed inables the pink flowers to have a resilience that is unusual after it is allowed to grow in good soil. Thinker Think!
