I always use unscented candles or the flameless ones. I do love to have on my gas fireplace in the morning with a couple of woodwick candles, they make a crackling noise,
I love candles! But I only burn one on my glass top stove. Otherwise I use fairy lights with batteries.
I'm getting forgetful in my elderly years!😪
And I really love my little fairy lights stuffed into all sorts of things!
Love candles both real and fake and fairy lights. Helps during the dark winter months. Have a coffee dented one I am burning now usually in the evenings. Especially like the fake candles with timers. Plus have electric fireplace in den for extra heat and light

Candles,not so much,but I do make my own Insence.
I use mugwort,infuse it,typically with citrus oil,and it smokes away so delicately.

My favorite is pistachio,but that’s not an autumn nut.
Hazelnuts.
I love them.
Brazil nuts are always in the mix,too,because they are an adventure!
A pain in the butt to exctract,but the reward is almost macadamia-esque
I love candles but I guess I’ve never thought of using them in the daytime🤔 I typically use unscented unless they are the ones in a can from Trader Joe’s because they smell real instead of like chemicals. My husband I always have candles at dinner.

You are the one who got me to use a candle with my morning meditation. I love it!!! it is my quiet time just for me. I mostly use scented but sometimes just tapers. This time of year is my favorite for using lots of candle light.
I think they are called shoe clips. I have vintage pair of rhinestone ones.
