  1. Well we are finished with Storm Nichole..you might get some rains from her next by Saturday 🌧️💨
You need to find you a fine, kind, mature, country farmer of your very own ☺️

  2. I just now starting to get calendula blooms and I'm harvesting everyone that blooms . They smell so good

  3. Exactly…the end of this movie but I’m looking forward to your Winter videos. I got so much useful information off your winter videos. Most of them I have put in place or gotten. 😅

  4. It's supposed to freeze in East Texas Saturday morning so everything is covered since tomorrow we're getting much needed rain. I'm really hoping to get more time for tomatoes but I'm pushing the end of the season. I am loving this fermented salsa! 😋 and if you've never tried fermented green beans make sure you do next year…so good and crunchy! Yum!

  5. Glad you are getting your garden work finished up before your weather takes a Winter-like turn. We are getting frosty here in NW AZ where I live. About five nights under freezing in the next 2 weeks are forecast. It rained here yesterday so I got more weed pulling done. All goes to the trash can week by week, as there is no "Green can pickup" and I do not wish to pay for another trash can or dumpster. I am pretty selective about what I do put into the small compost bin I have going. That is nearly full so I will start another pile soon. Always something to be done. You are fortunate to have the help for those chores. Great you have an electric anti-deer fence! Good!

  6. I’m not sure what that weed you pulled up was that you said you hate….horse nettle perhaps? Didn’t get a good look at it in video. That one low growing to the ground where you said wonder what this is , is called chickweed. It can be eaten in a salad. It’s a diuretic and has lots of vitamins like most greens, gets a tiny white flower in warm weather and is EVERYWHERE, lol. I think the one you said looked like a Dana, ion while y’all were digging thistle, WAS a dandelion…they can get a little tougher and softer spines than thistle, after it starts into fall of the year here. Just sharing my little bit of knowledge. Love you vids and seeing your progress!💋✝️🕊

  7. Kaye dandelion is a great blood purifier
all the plant root leaves flowers if any
boil in a saucepan of water for 15 to 20 minuets strain off
let cool store in mason jar sweeten to own liking as it is sour
    drink during breakfast when ever,,,,,,,Ed

  8. Hi. There’s a plant you didnt know the name, thats probably milkweed. My wife braise it and its so delicious. Here in Brazil we call It serralha. Very common down south but people thing its dangerous because its milky.

  9. Kaye, you never cease to amaze and inspire me with your energy, enthusiasm and hard work! On that note I had better go put my ducks up! Much Love!

  10. Yes winter is coming sooner than we think. With all the seeds you collected this year, you won't have to buy another one for a long time if ever. I have lots of seeds too and wish I lived in a community to share them but perhaps with the next move. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

  11. Nice to see you have help again for your clean up. Have you ever considered the 'no till' Ruth Stout way of gardening. In fact I thought you did mention the benefits of 'no till' for building a healthy soil with beneficial microbes. Add the small cabbage leaves, chickweed and dandelion to your soups or salads. I just got done picking and cleaning my wild edible greens that have made it through several freezes in my area, Wisconsin, zone 5. Your radish greens and mustard greens are also edible, delicious and very nutritious. Have you dried your calendula all Summer? I have 2 gallon jar of dried calendula flowers, so many health benefits, topically and internally. Did you take time to dry the basil leaves for tea? Very beneficial for our immune system. The weed with the berries looks like 'nightshade'. That can be a 'go crazy' weed. I hope you don't get overwhelmed with too big of gardens next year. Sometimes bigger is not better. Unless of course you are donating all the extra food to the local food pantry or churches. Maybe I missed that video. May the winter bring you good health and joy.

  12. It looked quite exciting how the trees were swaying in the wind 💨 🌲We had to trim some today so that there will be no problem when a storm is coming. We're in the same climate zone like you but it's still warm here. There might be some frost next week. It's just amazing that the tomatoes 🍅 are still blooming in November and we can still harvest a bowl of them every day 🍅🤗 I'm sure you're happy that you've put the big garden to bed. Have a great weekend Kaye. Greetings Heidi 🍂💛🍁

  13. I have been so busy I haven't kept up with the weather. I went out in the dark to stash away things on the deck. We got a chicken coop & 2 hens on Saturday. I've buttoned them up as best I could (wrapped the coop in a tarp & tied down with a bungie cord as I was concerned rain could blow into gaps of the coop and they'd get wet & cold. 🙏🤞

  14. Kaye, at the minute 13.02, it looks like Chick weed to me. It is edible, you can add it to salads, sandwichs, tacos, soups ect. Can eat raw or cook with it. It comes every spring and fall ENJOY IT!

  15. I've missed your videos for the last couple weeks and just got reminded how much happiness I have watching your videos. Thank you for sharing, from Oklahoma.
