  1. Itโ€™s so cute the way you still call it โ€œthe Hartleyโ€ instead of the greenhouse, clearly a dream come true for you. I hope they reward you for the publicity youโ€™re giving them!

  2. Can you talk a little bit more about bulbs naturalizing? Are there certain conditions and/or varities of tulips/daffodils, etc that are more prone to naturalizing and coming back for more years?

  3. I have a foolproof way to stop squirrel's stealing bulbs. I have been doing this for 30 years and it always works. I dig out an area and place the bulbs in and cover them with dirt just to the top of the bulb. Then I add dog fur ( from when I clip my dog ) on top of soil and bulbs, then cover with the remaining soil and stamp down. There is a video showing this on my channel if interested. Thanks so much for all you do to help the gardening world.

  4. All so beautiful ๐Ÿ˜, the pronunciation for the Bella Estrella should be Bay-a Es-tray-a (since I'm Hispanic it's how I read it lol)

  5. Does anyone have a recommendation for planting bulbs other than an auger? We have a ton of rocks, so an auger isn't feasible for us. Right now I'm just digging holes with a shovel, but would a bulb planter be better?

  6. "Estrella Bella" perfectly pronounced in Spanish and I appreciate how you try your Spanish, and succeed ๐Ÿ‘Œ . I thought it would be too late for me to plant my bulbs, Guess not! ๐Ÿ˜€ So, Bulb planting for me this weekend ๐Ÿ˜

  7. If it's that warm in the Hartley, you can out Lisianthus in a pot and overwinter them in there.

  8. Laura,you are a work horse, a beautiful human one , I love ๐Ÿ’• youโ€™re energy and excitement

  9. Hi Laura, heads up regarding Avalanche. They are a zone 6 so might only be borderline hardy in your area. I'm zone 6b and my Avalanche's performed pretty poorly last year. Only one came up. Fingers crossed for yours!

  10. Oh I canโ€™t wait to see all the Blooms in the spring! Itโ€™s going to be so amazing! ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฅ€

  11. You're energy is inspiring! So much so , ast year I bought, started and planted way too much , lol. I was almost glad for the starts I lost ๐Ÿ˜‚

  12. My sister took me to a football field size patch of camas in the spring years ago. It was up a forest road off the Chinook Pass highway in Washington. It was so beautifulโ€”just a sea of blue. The Yakamas dig camas for food. You have planted so much beauty Laura. I look forward to seeing it all erupt next spring! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  13. I am feeling mischievious right now. What if color blends wanted to be funny and play a practical joke on Laura. They popped red rougue tulips inside her other tulip blends. Not too many but enough that she will catch on. I want to say a lot of my likes and dislikes have become much more clear to me now because of laura. I have no way to express what I like or why. One thing i realized is I do not like the striped/stared petunia or the like. Aaron has also helped me put words to my feelings. This is the utter tip of the iceburg on how much this channel, this family has taught me.
It is really weird when something appears on your path where you had no idea why its there but turns out it was the biggest thing you needed and it was no accident it appeared on your path. For awhile I thought AAron and Laura are perfect, then THANK GOD I realized they are not perfect and I can do what they are doing just on a much much smaller scale.

  14. I also ordered the iris reticulata from colorblends. Where I am from they were the very first bulbs to bloom so am so excited to have my own. Canโ€™t wait for next spring!!

  15. I have lots of Camassia in my garden(South UK). They need moist soil as they naturally grow in damp meadows. They are very happy in winter wet .

  16. Can't wait to see all of these flowers next spring! I know you've named them before, but what are the grasses shown at 16:37 with the unique seed heads? I love them!

  17. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒYeah!!!! who picked the JAM!!!! got me patting my feet!!!!! Yeah!!!!

  18. That's amazing! I had 1200 bulbs this fall and I'm still putting them in. With highs in the 30s for the forseeable future, I think tonight is my best/last shot!
