We might have slightly missed the Halloween window, but it’s finally time to harvest all these beautiful Polar Bear pumpkins from the backyard garden. This variety has done well for us two years in a row now, and we think it is one of the easiest pumpkin varieties to grow.
Join us as we harvest all these pumpkins, including some that are 60 lbs or more! We’ll also check on our fall potato planting to see if any of them are ready to harvest.

Your boys are such a joy to watch hehe. I'm 70 and I miss my 2 girls in their younger days. You are truly blessed!
They are beautiful!! You grow the coolest vegetables
Last year I grew the small ghost pumpkins. This year I had a volunteer pumpkin come up and got 4 that were about 5 lbs. Who knows maybe next year they'll be like yours, lol!
Fun!!! Gotta brag on my first pumpkin— Jarrahdale almost 15 pounds and the most beautiful piece of food I’ve ever laid eyes on! Look up a picture!
We have good success with Georgia Bulldog pumpkins.
Kids are so funny when they get excited 😂
I'm sure you talked with Lindy from Georgia grown citrus best place to buy citrus in Georgia its only 16 min away. Also when i lived in Albany bought alot stuff from Mark, its good to buy local.
How 'bout them Dawgs!!
Love the pumpkins and potatoes look great
What cover crop do you plan to plant where the pumpkins are?
Kind of looks like squash bugs! They have killed a lot of my squash plants in the past!
"30 grilling pounds " To perfect
I enjoyed watching your kiddos help in the garden.
Obviously the scale is off. That pumpkin was 30 million pounds
Not if u got the vine borers…its 100 percent impossible…along with squashes..the heroics one must go thru wont actually work either
Hehe..fedco is back online with their 2023 seeds!! Im looking for corn tonight…i havent grown any for about 5 years and u got me so.excited for CORN…but pumpkin envy will always be…we got the vine borers bad here…i think those Seminole wont grow here as we dont get the rain…and they are sooo viney
Have u tried the cherokee or Seminole pumkins? Seriosly may be funny for u..dont do them near your regular garden.
Your best crop might be two good strong young men.
My fall potatoes are always smaller than the spring crop, but it's great to have new potatoes late in the season.
Those young men did a great job. You too dad. Loved watching them test themselves.
Your children had me laughing at 5:30 this morning. Beautiful crop of pumpkins and boys.
