  1. Cindy, how much would it cost to switch to lithium batteries from the lead acid batteries for your solar power storage? Perhaps start a fund to replace the batteries?

  2. That's great you found a good way to get rid of the caterpillars. You got a lot done even without getting paid for September's work yet.

  3. Cindy, I admire your attitude and accomplishments.
Also it’s so great seeing you and Luise having fun together.

  4. What right have people to tell you that your living a pipe dream. So what it’s your life and you are sharing it with us. Just tell them to go to……..you know where. If people want to come and help, there living their dream. If I was young again I would be there myself. Love from Australia

  5. Another possible solution to spray is chilies made into a tea. Sprayed on every few days. Agree with many here, live your best life, enjoy the close community you have around you. Be proud of what you have done. I am inspired by your example.

  6. Cindy u go girl u are happy work on your pace love your animals doing what u always wanted before u cant anymore still fitting in work trying to plant and most of all u are happy

  7. Oh Cindy just take it from whence it came – sounds like a very sour grapes kind of comment. I, for one, admire what you did buying the land and all you've done in a year only! Everyone has their own path in life and who has the right to question others dreams? I'm only 58 and have a very similar dream as yours, just here in Turkiye and not Portugal. We are already looking around for the ideal ground and hopefully will find the right one soon!

  8. Look for mushrooms with gills that are brown or tan. While some mushrooms with white gills are edible, the most deadly and poisonous mushroom family—Amanitas—nearly always have white gills. Select mushrooms without red on the cap or stem. Choose mushrooms with white, tan or brown caps and stems.

  9. 👿 There will alway be the dream stealers 👿
It’s one of the reason I started vlogging because a saw people had been put off there dream because the dream stealers told them they were too old or couldn't do it on their own yardy ya, bla bla bla…
f** the lot of ‘em!! 💫💫✨Don’t just dream it DO IT!! ✨💫💫

  10. Those puffy mushrooms are called puffballs. Yes, edible as long as inside is healthy white. They can grow quite large. Keep an eye on them for optimal picking. Hit me up if you need any more identified. Think I seen some field mushrooms in one of your videos. Edible also. But always be 100% sure of ID. You probably have some other highly sought after ones too, in your area.

  11. If you can find ,we use a vegetable dust for bugs.but if you can just put around the stems so it won't effect the animals.

  12. Hello Cindy – Great video, thank you. It is very interesting and inspiring to follow you and your life in Portugal. Of course you must consult a more experienced mushroom finder but I am pretty sure that the white one is a dust ball mushroom and the green leaves, you showed us just ahead of the mushrooms are tulips, they look very much like tulip leaves. All the best to you.

  13. You have come so far in one year! Progress is amazing and don't sweat the negative comments. They wish they could live their dream like you do. I think, your farm is magical with all those mossy boulders. A wooden path way through and over them sounds great.

  14. Oh Cindy you made me so mad! How dare those ignorent people say you can’t do anything without volunteers…. I like to see them do as much as you do and then I’d like to see them do it without normal electricity! I hate people that talk the talk but don’t walk the walk… you go girl! You are an inspiration to any and all viewers ❤️🇨🇦

  15. You are doing a fantastic job Cindy. It is a shame that person has no dream and is so negative. Live your dream Cindy we love that you take us along with you. Thank you

  16. Oh Cindy, please don’t listen to the negative comments. You are living your dream! Your farm is beautiful. The pigs and dogs are happy and healthy. I admire you for having the courage to go live your dream. I hope you be able to visit you one day. That’s one of my dreams ☺️

  17. Pooh to anyone who tries to stomp on your dream!!! All your fans love watching your progress & the community you are a part of. And at least You are doing your dream. So many are too scared to get off the couch. I’m proud of you Cindy!

  18. It's awesome for just one year! Beyond that even, especially with some of the setbacks you had. I wouldn't let you tube comments bother you at all. If you can get anything out of the comments beyond better you tube ranking then you are doing fantastic.

I hear Elon Musk wants to build a city….on Mars…. Mars the ultimate desert, if you can call it that. Just wasting his time. I mean he has been doing the spaceship thing for a while now and he is how close to even visiting Mars? He wants to build a city there and he has not even been there for a visit. One of those hopeless dreamers. Everybody knows he will never amount to anything but they are too polite to say anything. 🌎🚀🛰🚀🪐

  19. Cindy I just think they active lifestyle has given you health benefits that we just can’t quantify! You have accomplished so much!

  20. Hey..l’d take that “pipe dream” any day. What a beautiful pipe dream…absolutely gorgeous. I love your little home and that you are doing it at your own pace with what you have on hand as you go along. You eat fine food of your own making and create your own beautiful space to live in. You should be so proud. I love it and intend to keep right on watching you “grow it”. You go girl!

  21. Cindy , it got me upset that someone was trying to tell you that your not "up to standard! How dare they!!? Who`s standard? You do what makes you happy! You live they way you choose cuz it is YOUR life, YOUR dream, Your happyiness, right!! Some ppl dont get it and dont see the beauty in a slow, simple life! Unless you got all the fancies ofmodern conveniences I guess you are not up to par. (fools)I guess we all been a bit like that in younger years, a little for sure but with age comes more wisdom and differentlook a life. So what if you need help here and there? So what if it takes you years to get where YOU want to go with the farm? You ake your time woman! You needto go as you can-physicaly and financialy. If the qoman who left you that "nice" comment wan you to go faster with everything she is more than welcome to make some donaions lol If she isnt paying your bills she shouldnt worry about how long it takes you! I am orry, but people like hat with their negativity just get me going lol…I admire your courage, all the hard work you do and the passion and vision you have! I say Bravo! Keep going Cindy (I know you will) and you will do everyhing you set out to do too!! God bless!!

  22. I wouldn’t take any notice of peoples views like that. Why don’t they get out and run a smallholding. It is what makes you happy. What pace you work at or when and how you do projects is your business.

  23. Nee wat my bokkie moet daai persoon nie kop toe vat nie. He's a Duffus. Your farm is beautiful your pigs are amazing. Yes you do need help but your doing great. 💪💪❤👍👌
