Ultimately, the source of all natural light is the sun, but one must consider how the sky and brightly colored objects reflect/diffuse the light from the sun. These plants on my shelf get their light from the skylight – the sun doesn’t always come directly into view, but consider the question I always ask: can the plants see the sky? 📷 2) Yes – the skylight provides an unobstructed view of a large patch of sky. So long as I keep the appropriate plants and manage both soil moisture and structure, I’ll be happy with them – I didn’t say, they’ll look perfect forever…
