  1. Robbie, I bought some garlic from my neighbor – garlic that he had grown last season.
Can I break those up and plant some of them? I know they were not sprayed

  2. I read the title of the video, "How to grow garlic and hummingbirds…", and I thought, wait?! We can grow hummingbirds?!🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Love your videos!

  3. I always look forward to your videos. Always informative, helpful, encouraging and much needed positivity. Thank you as always.

  4. Thanks Robbie, everyone is doing garlic planting videos now so this is perfect and fits right in. I have a Jumbo Elephant garlic bulb sitting in the basket from when I purchased it a bit ago now. I love the big garlic even though they say they are more a leak but they still have the flavor of garlic to me that my family and I enjoy. I want to plant some but I do all container gardening with mostly grow bags and my tomatoes have been out in my barn (shed that looks like a barn) and I got hit hard with armyworms aka fruit worms and I tell ya I am a little discouraged to plant anything here now. But I have been enjoying the plants I have had fall off from the parent plant that I just put into a glass ball jar or whatever and have growing directly in water in my kitchen windowsill. I shall make room for the garlic on the sill now. Great idea to sprout them out 1st to be sure they are even good and will sprout. I had them growing from last year at the house in Florida I just had to move from and I move back in the beginning of June and I had to pick them too early though they were good as I pulled a few early to cook with long before that. Always a great video from ya Robbie, thank you and I see your dressing for cooler weather which I am assuming you are finally getting your share of there where you are but those beautiful hummingbirds are still hanging around. I can't wait for my little fluttering friends to return.

  5. Robbie this is such good advice, I just got my bed ready today, ran out of daylight so I'm going to wait a couple of day and plant.

  6. That is a great idea Robbie. I had garlic on my window sill. I did,nt plan on growing it but there it was in the saucer taking off. My husband and i grow it this way always now. Were really in the Cold weather here now🥶 We woke up to snow on the ground this morning.⛄ it is funny how things grow in the window sill. keeps me happy to look at them. and my house plants are purple vines and there is beautiful purple flower blossoms on the very tips, seen them this morning. i was enjoying looking at my window sill garden ,while having my coffee. is,nt that something. beautiful life. I liked that growing garlic and hummingbirds. Hummingbirds do actually grow on your window feeder hooks. Thats truly amazing. your so lucky to have this and see the babies .Kitty is so cute. I loved seeing her in todays video Thanks.🧄and Hummingbirds episode🥰

  7. Thanks Robbie got to get on this this weekend. Learning so much from you. Thank you appreciate all you share and teach.Loved watching and listening to the hummers.

  8. Thank you Robbie for the great tutorial. I moved from Tennessee to Las Vegas last year and my gardening experience has been lack luster with the squash and okra so I'm going to try this to see what I can do with this.

  9. in a previous video you showed how to set several cloves in little paper cups and they all rooted in just a few days. I put them in a double dollar tree dishpan and gave a few away to friends. We had some weather in the 30's here in Alabama but they didn't care. I didn't think about eating the leaves but I will now. I will bring them in if it gets cold (after the first) but do they usually grow from spring to fall? I will have a bazillion leaves for composting and a case of pitchers and am eager for spring to get here. Cats and dogs shouldn't eat onions or garlic so I have to add them last, (for me) when I make us a roast. You are such a blessing !!!

  10. Ik garlic has kinda strong scent but just wondering if I put them in water will mosquitos try and plant eggs in the water
    (Without dirt just water)

Also so glad you made this because I’ve been wanting to grow Garlic!

  11. I just thought of something I have a grow light and no window sill in our house. So I'll do this in the basement where it will be out of the way. Thanks for the great ideal.
