My aunt used to make the best stuffed pork chops in the world. She used stuffing. I am not sure if she made her own or just used the one from the store though. Maybe you could look into something like that. Thanks for sharing another great video with us, have a great evening.
Put parchment paper in cast iron next time. Easy clean!
I love to stuff chicken breasts with that Boursin cheese you saw at Costco, along with thinly sliced yellow onions, red bell peppers and asparagus. Brown on the stove and then into the oven to finish just like you did. I serve them with couscous or rice a roni and a cheesey sauce. So delicious!
The wicker chargers would be great to put under serving dishes. They would also help protect your table or counter top and look fancy at the same time.
We planted sweet potatoes October 2021 in New Zealand in tubs. It was very slow growing. We thought it was an epic fail, but decided to move our pots into our greenhouse over winter. I dug around just to see if there was any improvement. I'm happy to say our patience is paying off. I'm leaving the sweet potatoes for now and plan to harvest between April and May next year. Almost a year and half to grow, but it will be worth the wait. 😁
If you bake the sweet potatoes first instead of boiling you can just scrape the inside out. No peeling and the nutrients don’t leach out in the water. Just a thought. I just did the whole ten pounds from Costo! So yummy!
Becky where can I find a link to the freezer tour?
Something I like to do when figuring out decorations is to find a Pinterest picture that I love and try to mimic that in my own way.
I often use string for stuffed chicken and it helps to keep the filling in. Thanks for sharing. I have stuff chicken with apple and cheese
My favorites for stuffed chicken breasts are:
1. spinach with ricotta
2. sun dried tomato with mozzarella then a little drizzle of balsamic
3. thin slice of ham with swiss cheese
So yummy!
May I ask that you ship some of those $31.99 winter jackets over to me and Canada ? Ours are double or more!? Seriously! Please
We make chream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, chop up bacon ( use some of the bacon juice too) diced jalopeno : optional any shredded cheese you prefer we use cheddar
I love to use left over Jalapeño poppers/filling to stuff chicken breast. Everytime we have left over stuffed Jalapeños, we chop up the entire thing, pepper and all and put it in chicken breast. It's so good!
I love the fact you are just real! You don’t cut out failures. You really help us learn together. The fact you are suffering from what’s known as pregnancy brain, is endearing! ❤❤❤
FYI on the vanilla. Vanilla has a ratio needed to make extract. For every once of beans, you use 1 cup of liquor. For double fold it’s 2 oz of beans to 1 cup of liquor. Vanilla beans starts to lose flavor after the 1 first extract so you need to use half a cup to an oz of beans for a single fold. If you use more liquor than beans, you basically just have a vanilla flavored liquor and not extract. Usually flor clean liquids, extracts are done after 1 year and if it still has a liquor smell or taste you can use a finishing block. If you are using a dark liquor, extract is made after 2 years.
I make gallons and gallons of extract for years now with a dedicated cabinet.
You can freeze cream cheese
Do you have a chain mill scrubber to scrub your cast iron? They are amazing!❤️🌻
I went to all these today and I got my white vinegar like you got and I pay $1.29 a gallon so I got me 6 gallons of it and I noticed Walmart is a lot higher so let me know what you pay for yours thank you
Oh I got the vinegar at Aldi's
Just made the chicken. Delicious,my husband loved it. ❤❤❤❤
Becky, you sound exhausted
I like stuffing pork chops with an apple stuffing. So yummy!
OH MY GOODNESS BECKY ! I am canning in my Presto for the first time ever canning !! and it’s all going smoothly. I was SO apprehensive, but it’s all great. I also used it for some pear jam the other day but that’s just water bathing, but much easier than on the stove top.
By the way, I live in Australia and we can’t get digital canners here so I bought it from the States, and bought a voltage step down transformer. Don’t care about the extra expense because manual pressure canners and cookers terrify me !
So grateful to have found your community 🌺🪴😍 Helen
