  1. Heather, this was so helpful! Seeing you in the patch and watching you decide which to leave and which to pull was just what I needed. I always get overwhelmed when I'm standing in the patch trying to figure out how to organize the new and the old. Wish I lived closer, I would take you up on your offer of strawberry plants. I'm wanting to add a new variety to next years garden. Do you have a favorite variety? I'm in Oregon and have a nice planting of Quinault everbearing and thinking about adding Seascape if I can find them. I agree, pine straw in the berry patch is perfect. You and your little toddler will have a great time in the berry patch!
