Ive got swet taters growing too..I literally cut my longer vines every year and every year they grow just great. Cut every single one of those where the roots are, put the roots into the soil and they will grow. They may die back but if u cover them, they will grow big tubers for you. It takes a long time.

Great harvest! Sweet potatoes need at least 120 days from slip to harvest.

Yall did great! I hope you saved some of the vines to grow inside overwinter. They can grow you food inside and you can make soooo many slips for next spring!
