Some seedlings need more space to produce larger harvests (= more food for you)!   2. That's also not true, you can definitely transplant radish and you're still missing the opportunity of informing everyone you can harvest most things at any stage and you can eat thinnings. You missed the opportunity to say you can also leave the radishes like the beets and just grow and eat the leaves but maybe it's coming.
