Hi Robbie, I want to thank you on the tulle advice to protect your plants. I received my tulle a few days ago. I put it around my purple broccoli plant. OMG what a difference a few days make. I treated with neem oil solution before I put it on. Now the leaves are opening up and growing. I was shocked at how fast it started showing improvement. Thank you so much for this pesticide free solution. Now I have a problem with my walking onions. The are covered in these little black aphids. Will the tulle work on that as well? . My onions started walking and when the curly sprout reaches the top the little black aphids suck it out. Nothing in the tips but air. I know you are very busy but hopefully you can address one day in your walk abouts. Thanks again for the tulle advice…. It WORKS!!!
I absolutely love your rainbow garden, it is sheer joy to behold. I'm really looking forward to seeing the pizza garden! 🌈
All that color makes one smile 😃 Enjoy you weekend.
Hi Robbie
Gosh you stuff grows so fast ….I’m still waiting for my sprouts from winter sowing
I don't know how you keep track of everything you do. I've learned so much by watching your videos, including plants, vegetables, and fruits I've never heard of before.
I love watching your garden tours! I sure hope my garden does well. So far I may have lost some tomato plants due to the drainage holes not being big enough. I live in the desert with very little shade, so I am afraid everything is going to die! 😢
I love your plants
Hello Robbie, I adore your videos. You don't know it but you are my new best friend in California. Lol. I don't know anyone else. I wanted to ask what are the holders that you have hanging off some of your totes. They hold your gloves and etc. They are so cool.
Wow, Robbie!!!
Love you. Robbie! You're such a joy. Do you continue to bury kitchen scraps in your rainbow garden tubs? I planted several according to your directions and they are doing great. But I'm not sure whether to add more scraps or not.
I'm not getting worms only moggots what wrong am I doing…. the pizza stack will be great for me I don't have to bend too much due to a bad back.
How do you keep everything watered in a drought?
Do you eat or farm stand all that food ?
Maybe stake the zucchinis to get more room 😊 🤷🏽
Hi I’m new deaf subscriber from Southern California in Riverside. Is too late if I planted in July? Too hot for plants?
Question: why don’t we ever see you growing PEAS or GREEN BEANS?? 🌱 they’re so easy to grow and good
The weather has been so strange. It got to 80+ yesterday here in Montana and that usually happens starting in July. I am tempted to plant early. I love your rainbow garden!! I am going to do some tote gardens this year.
Your garden is looking great Robbie! I just love all your birds. Thank you for taking such good care of them. You guys are great! Yes having a coffee chat would be fun. I'm in the process of planting seeds. I'm hoping I have better luck with my zucchini this year. Mine seem to only produce male flowers. Wish me luck! 🙂
I love your videos of the birds, rabbits, foxes and whatever else comes through. It's almost like a nature film. I also love that you don't bother the nature, and let things take their course for the most part, unless you have to put tulle around something. Because of my soil and the expense of bringing in bagged dirt and amendments, I have stuck to planting trees. I bought two peach trees that are bred for Florida. So far they have just been hanging on, but I keep watering them, hoping they'll perk up. My baby persimmon trees that I planted last year and thought they died from root rot all came back, so I will be planting them out when they get bigger. I bought a white mulberry tree, and it's going gangbusters. I have found that in general, trees do better bought locally from a nursery. I have had a hit and miss with their condition when they arrive. Even the white mulberry took forever to come back from dormancy and it's only coming back from the bottom, which is OK, as they grow fast and big. I have started a different watering system, too, a "moat" dug not too deeply around each tree, so the water stays where it belongs and sinks down to the roots. I love using this system, as it really saves water. I also bought a moisture gauge, so I can just stick it in the dirt to see if things need watering, and it gives instant results. They aren't expensive.
Hi Robbie I just found out about your channel! I’m so happy 😀 I will make some of the water fountains for the hummingbirds. I have a question for you, have you seen a hummingbird all red? I saw it last year and I was amazed.
I LOVE your rainbow garden. Totes are expensive here. You have to buy with lids and they retail at about £7.50 each, that's over $10.
May 2nd and we are waking up to yet another heavy frost 😠 again. Think it got our rainbow chard this time.
I always talk about how awesome your channel is on other YouTubers garden channels!! Keep keepin’ real Robbie, you go girl!!! 🤩😁🪴🌱🍂🍃
Darn. It says the pink totes are out of stock. I went to Walmart because online is said the totes were 4.95 but when I got to the store it was 5 or 6 something. So I didn't want to spend the extra money. I know I want atleast 17 of them. For the price of all the totes I will need my husband wants to build one out of wood.. I am set on the tote idea tho because I can't build one out of wood and I don't want to wait for someone else to do it for me. Either way I need to get the ball rolling soon!
Very unusual looking garden, looks really nice, must be a good size property
I love watching your videos!!! You've taught me so much about gardening, I have my own tote garden on my porch now!! It's doing great!!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge, you make my day with all your positivity! 🥰🥰
Good morning Gary and Robbie, beautiful garden! I love it! Thank you for sharing! God bless you! 👋💕
Do you ever put rotten potatoes in the compost bin?
If you only have a few things growing do you still want the birds coming?
Want they eat your food and what about the ant's getting in your Potts or bin's?
Thank y'all so much for your help and car sharing with us and have a blessed day 😇.
I live in the south and I think I am going to start something like this. I really don't want to dig a garden. Don't have the time for that. Luv the chairs and how you put a container in the tub. Luv all the colored tubs. It doesn't seem overwhelming versus a regular garden. Also, since I just found your channel, will start watching your water fountains videos. I must say you have a beautiful piece of property in So. Calif.
I love watching you. I get excited when you put out a video.
Have you grown cantaloupe or okra? I have both growing in two separate small plastic square containers but would love to have them both in a large tote. I’m just not sure if there is enough room for both I move them. Not sure how big they get since this is my first time growing them.
Love all your videos. Would love to see a video on plant "compatibility"– what veggies not to grow in the same pot. Thank you!
So amazing!! I have done your ideas with the tots and chairs garden. Last year was my first time doing. Had so much with. Is setting up as a horse shoe easy way ? Or have the chairs in a straight line would that work easy? To work in the garden ? Last we had three rows . But I found it hard to maintain the garden that way. It was like stuff was growing on top of each other. Try to fine a way that might not happen.
I so enjoyed learning from you. Thank you so much for sharing all you great ideas!!!
Your gardens look great. Do you find you need to water every day?
Go happy to have found your channel! Thanks for video 😊
