Plant Spotlight: Growing Sweet Potatoes In Zone 9

Join Louisiana Simple Living as I show you how easy it is to grow sweet potatoes in your backyard organic raised bed garden in Zone 9 or anywhere really along the Gulf South. I planted both Murasaki and Vardaman sweet potato types. I planted the slips in late May. It was a total of 11 slips in a 4′ x 5′ raised bed that produced over 50 lbs. of sweet potatoes.
