15FT Tall Overgrown Yard, You Won’t believe what we found buried in the grass
This Single Mom reached out as her yard has gotten out of control due to her crazy schedule with work and the kids. I drove out there and noticed she had a small garden with a bench buried in 15ft tall grass. This was the largest trimming job I’ve ever had to deal with. She was shocked to see what we found buried in the overgrown grass and garden.

It looks like an Oregon mulching blade would have been a good idea for a lot of what you cut down with your hedge clippers, but hey, what do I know. Thanks for the video!
Really brilliant transformation job sir thank you for all that you do for your community
Great job Erik. I truly don’t want to sound negative. I get bemused reading how “single moms” can’t take care of their property due to crazy schedules bla, bla, bla. Then allow their yards to get to the condition as in this video. Why on earth choose a place like this to live if you aren’t going to care for it for one reason or another. Having a 15 y/o (male or female) child…. My goodness they should be helping out. Either that, or live in an apartment building where there’s no responsibility to clean up a yard. Jus sayin…. 🤦🏻♀️
Looks great
Erik, the yard transformations always amaze me. You are always ready and equipped for every challenge, and this yard was a challenge.
You had a good workout on this piece of her property.that was a mess.but as always you took it in stride and emerged the victor.just keep doing what your doing .you are the man 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Someone needs to be raking and making a pile of debris for u while YOU are doing all the hard labor. Bless u for being so caring. Don't know why 2 young people can't cut their own grass even Once every 2 wks!!
Do you ever think your going to get lost in some of those yards
You are very good people.God bless you😇
Well done
Big trimming job !!! Hopefully they can now get a mower and trimmer to keep it up.
Great job, Erik! Sorry your belt came off! What you got finished looks so much better, as always! 🤗&😘from SE Tennessee!😊🌱🌲🌳🌿🍀🍁🍂🍃
It looks to me like jobs with weeds this tall you need to rent one that grinds tall stuff. You did great and God bless you.
Hello Erik. Yes you are back to that place. There was a lot left since before. Yes, the grass has grown tall again. But you manage it as usual Erik, you're good. Have a good time, see you soon. Sven from Sweden.
Hi, Eric. I’ve got recurring concern. You get really focused on cutting back the overgrowth, leaving the cuttings underfoot and tripping on it. That is a very real hazard! You haven’t fallen yet, that I’ve seen, but you’ve come close to getting hurt. Please take the time to clean up the cuttings before you do hurt yourself. Don’t get me wrong, I found myself doing the same thing when cutting back underbrush from a job site and came very close to causing severe self injury. Take care and keep doing what you do.
We don’t always know what goes on behind closed doors but this could have been kept at a minimum. She has 2(?) boys who could have easily kept up part of it. There’s all kinds of pruners etc that could have taken care of much of the tall stuff. At 74 I still prune tree suckers & lop lower tree branches. They can go out now & pickup & rake the area. If you look in the window at the end……. Did they just move in & haven’t unpacked yet?
I’m sorry for such honesty…… I was raised in the country & there was ALWAYS something to do… no matter how young. You could carry a stick or branch.
I guess it’s just how you’re raised. Jmho.
Bless you & your son 😇
👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Your work is always awesome don't know what the final approval was about guess she was amazed over the clean up
Harsher trimming keeps jungle in check. Been watching you PUSSY FOOT around aggressive bushes – never a good idea.
great Job Erik but no reason she can't try to help herself on this yard too sometime it call been lazy want other to do it for her.
lmfao!! shopping is more important!! tell her to buy a few bags of water softener salt and spread it like chicken feed during the winter.
God's Blessings to you ! To bad more people don't do what you are !!!💖👍💞👍💓👍
I do not understand how these single moms can’t mow their own yards or hire someone. Better yet, get their kids to do it. You did an excellent job but may I suggest getting a bush hog. Those weeds were awful!! 👍
You took on a real big job there that kept growing as you went along. That young man who was around in the background looked well able and old enough to be helping shift some of the cut stalks out of your way. His mother should have been telling him to give you assistance. That is called taking advantage of a good persons help in my book. I wouldn't be working there again in a hurry, go somewhere that you are needed by someone who is not bodily able to help, there must be hundreds in your area alone who are unable to garden for health reasons or old age. What you do is brilliant but I hate to see someone being used.
The weeds must be whacked!
Hi Erik
Weed whacking is my least favorite part of yard work.
I guess because I've pulled muscles in my shoulder and back several times doing it.
So I felt bad for you having to do so much of it.
Looks like you were able to open up more of the yard by taking down that 15ft high
brush.
As always enjoy watching you and Landon.
Wishing you the best of success, health, and safety
This is just crazy Erik.. I'm single and live on 8 acres lots to do and i keep up with it, can't stand lazy people. I guess i just like clean.
Always you have a great Heart love what you do 👍🏻❤
Nice video.
Sir! Either your heart is open to all clean up. This one should have been a high pay provided the person was will to pay. Free some take it and never look back. Are there children liveing there to help with respnsbity. God sure t Bless you Sir.
Nice video Erik, hopefully you gotten your mower fixed. Time for this single mom to get her mower fixed and get her kid to keep up the yard. 👍👍👍👍👍👍😉🇺🇸
Those weed stalks were horrid! Good job.
Looks great
I think I saw you doing this lady's yard a few months back. This yard was very challenging and sorry for your equipment giving out. Thanks for being a great asset to your community. Blessings/peace
You are always so giving and thorough! Perhaps she and her son will find a way to pay it forward!
Holy Crows! 12 ft Ragweed! If only it were a cash crop!
Erik you are a very blessed man with that heart of yours, helping people that are needed. My best wishes and warm regards for you and your family. Keep on with the great job !
This lady seems to have some kind of other problems, her porche window revels a lot of messy boxes thrown inside there; she doesn´t look nothing healthy either … hopefuly others will give some assistance and help to her.
Great job Eric! I’m sorry the lady has not tried to keep up what you did the first time
Outstanding job Erik.
I totally get how yards get out of control. Its happened to me when I was injured or the weather is not cooperating. And if someone gets behind, that's where you come in to get it under control with stronger equipment.
I get the feeling she will never maintain her property. You’ve helped her at least twice. It’s time to move on to other people who need help. I think she’s just waiting now for you to show up to do it. I know a man who did his entire property with a weed eater. It wasn’t easy; but he did it. He had too much pride to just let it go. I hope it’s just a loose belt on your mower.
Posted before I was done. Lol. As I was saying, the stronger machines can knock it down BUT, unless you're elderly, disabled or have health problems, there's no reason why you can't try to maintain your yard yourself. Borrow a mower or call a relative for help. The stump out front that you trimmed with the little chainsaw? I have an inexpensive bow saw that cuts through big branches. I'd take that puppy to the ground. ☺ A little fresh air, hard work and sunshine does a body good.
My son's trying to drive maybe he should drive a mower oh wait that's child abuse these day's…lol. lazy kids and people…
she hasn't even borrowed or hired a mower to keep down your last two efforts
shame she couldn't find a mower to hoard like the rest visible in the porch
Social Service will have to called by her. You did a great job there.
Hope you don’t find any snakes or anything else
its not areasin that ur being single mumm ucan't mow or take care ur yard wer ur children or whole families enjoy out door playing or bbq, how comr thisr peolpe leave in such amessy jungle yard 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
You need a back up mower to take with you.
Great job. I would be embarrassed to have you come and repeat the service. 🙄
