Today I harvested an abundance of pomegranates from our “Wonderful” variety of pomegranate tree and surprised the wife with the harvest. Her reaction was so sweet! Thanks for watching!

Wow! Dan. Pretty amazing! Do you remember the variety?
I grew up with a pomegranate tree. I did not know they grew in cold weather.
We're growing a garden of Eden in the high desert of NW Arizona. I feel so blessed that the previous owner planted hundreds of trees and shrubs. We have 5 pomegranate trees of varying ages, pistachios, apricots, peaches, pear, and apple. The grapes get eaten by the birds but I don't mind. Love to see your fall garden, Dan. ๐ฉโ๐พ๐๐
My garden is closed down and I have my greenhouse up and running in full swing. First harvest of spinach is almost done and second is coming up
Congrats on a great harvest! What variety is this and does it grow in zone 7? Thanks!
I love Pomegranates, those look fantastic!

Beautiful surprise!
Aw what a delicious surprise.. Enjoy your weekend๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ๐
I tried growing these here in E TX and they keep dying on me with freezes. This is something I really wanted to grow when I moved to TX, but we picked the wrong place to grow food at and we have such a short growing season. I mean, I can grow a lot of stuff. But I do cantaloupes, asparagus, tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce, spinach, black eyes peas, sugar snap pea, and other things like carrots, strawberries, raspberries, black berries, blue berries, garlic and onions. Oh and squashes do well here when the rollie pollies are not taking down entire plants here. But I am so jealous you get those! Pomegranates are one of my favorite things.
Wow, what a harvest!! I only got 2 on my tree….
Oh how I'd love to be able to grow pomegranates! My absolute favorite. Zone 3 isn't conducive to growing this treat. IMO the best antioxidant to stave off colds.
very nice!!!
Wow! Abundant harvest! Happy Gardening!
Yes there's a big return of investment of yours with that pomegranate.
Aren't God's abundant blessings wonderful? You're also blessed with a lovely wife!!
Wow! How many pomegranate trees do you have?
Amazing!!!
You are living the life!!! I would love to find a partner and live this dream!
Pomegranate Vinegar <> liquid treasure
Can you please make a video how to and when to prune pomegranate?
It takes me three days to go through one pomegranate. That's a big pile you have there, it's going to keep you buisy.
Great Dan ๐๐ช have a great rest of the day!
Beautiful!!!!
Do you prune your pomegranate tree? We have one that is huge, and it's never been pruned and has never fruited. We found a bird nest in it yesterday. We really want it to fruit. It gets just loaded with flowers yearly.
Just saw your channel and Iโm looking for an answer about worm castings. Have you ever grown sweet corn with just worm castings as fertilizer? Thanks
love your channel
Love it! I don't have pomegranates, but lots of apples! Apple cider!! However, I may look for a pomegranate tree this year (at the garden center), I bought a new juicer, so it would be a fantastic addition.
I had to pick through a dozen hollow "ornaments" on my pomegranate tree before finding one to snack on due to a 'possum who is not high on my animal friends list. Birds are one thing, giant hissing marsupial rats are another.
On the bright side; My cannabis trimming chore is 95% complete and the harvest is better than that of the last few years ๐๐ฆจ๐
