This place is up there on the Quick Cut’s disaster scale, that’s why I hand-picked it to clean up for free! The owner and her partner both have medical issues, are on low incomes due to these conditions, and are unable to maintain the yard. The son, who also lives at home, is either a bit lazy or not the outdoors type. Either way, they need help, and the lady was over the moon when I offered to clean up for free. It will probably take a while to get this transformation done, (4+ episodes) over several weeks, and I will do every nook and cranny to the highest possible standard. So sit back, relax and enjoy watching me do all the hard work 🙂.

FAQ’s:

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.

Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.

Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.

Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!

Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!

Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.

Q: Why don’t you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!

Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I’m not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!

Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I’m not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!

Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.

Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That’s the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

  1. Ooh, this is a good one! Looked better when all you had done was the first section, so the end of the job is going to be spectacular. Can’t help thinking that all that grass penned in behind the fence looks a lot like water in an above ground pool. Found myelf hoping the fence would hold! Was that grass a different species from the usual? Didn’t seem to be quite so many runners, etc. as usual, and looked better than usual when done. 🇨🇦💕

  2. I must say, George, that I'm surprised you took on a job of this size on your own. You've done quite well with it, and I look forward to the next installment! Cheers!

  3. We all can see the hard work that you performed to get that wretched lawn looking like new. Good for you. It boggles my mind at the laziness the homeowners apply to their homes. You are a saviour to them.

  4. Looking forward to this yard's transformation series. I can always count that your work is always at high standards. God bless you.

  5. You always do such an amazing job George. I like to see the different locations and approaches. Hobart looks stunning and must give you pleasure to work in and for people to live in.

  6. OMG!!! What a huge and terrible overgrown garden 😱 Amazing work done so far as usual 👍 Congratulations on working so hard on this insane property 👏 I'm not surprised that you mentioned that will take weeks 🥺 Be blessed 🙏 for helping people in need 😀 Sending lots of love ❤️ and positive energy 🌟 from South of Spain 🇪🇸

  7. wow!! You sure do have some thick grass there, mate. For yards like this, and the fact that you're working solo, might I suggest either a riding lawnmower, or one of those where you can stand up on the back? Sure would get it done faster. Just my opinion…keep up the good work!!

  8. You cut the whole thing with that dinky little mower?!!! For heaven's sake, dude! Take the $ you get from YouTube and get yourself a decent mower!!!

  9. Why are they playing the dumbest music every. Doesn't make no sense. Good thing we can turn off volume. Its like your shopping at Walmart.

  10. Edging turned out very good. Regarding the oil stains in the car port. I have luck wth clay cat liter. Cover the stains and wait a few days or week. It absorbs the oil. Then sweep it up. Good job. Good editing. From Minnesota USA

  11. I was wondering do yaw have bad storms there in Aussie like we do here in these United States? I never hear about it on the news here in Ohio. If u do I pray that yaw take cover nd stay safe.

  12. Such a hard worker! Kudos to your work ethic. Such a nice transformation from the previous condition. Owners must be thrilled and proud of the job you did! Greetings from Michigan, USA (Great Lakes area).

  13. I hate the thought of getting old and not being able to attend to my garden which is my joy

  14. Love your comment "the weather is average down here" ….. parts of Tasmania have been flooded recently!!

  15. WOW!! That’s a big block I thought no one lived there till I heard the dog🐾

  16. The most watched channels don't have music, people want to hear lawn mowers … it's soothing

  17. I had bad weeds in front by the street. It was annoying to come home to. I weeded it and it was like " comfort food " like home. It was calming to see the organization of a clean lawn. This one causes me to feel anxiety.

  18. George I can’t wait for part 2! Well done. That’s a crazy overgrown lawn. Thanks for sharing the video.
