  1. Looking beautiful there Tessie, I just love your deck whiĉh I can imagine full of pläñts and family.

    lots of love honéy🙂💓👍

  2. Looking good Tessie, all those pots add up..your gonna have so much food just from those..i know your familys eating good!

  3. Thank you Tessie, I have to grow in pots and needing advice and ideas. keeping the cost down too. I have started a handful of herbs from seed inside. If they survive my abuse they will be put in pots outside😄. Love and prayers❤🙏

  4. I use empty plastic water bottles at the bottom of my container to take up the bottom space. It saves on the amount of potting soil needed and they are lighter.

  5. nice deck 🙂 that is really an old school deck. I am forced to do container gardening, and am enjoying it. Have a marvellous day

  6. tessie, does your medicinal book have any uses for peonies? I have a big beautiful peony that i hope can be beautiful and useful! your garden looks amazing….and your patio garden too!!! =)

  7. Lots of great tips in this video, thank you. I'd warn you about that Lemon Balm though…you may be cursing it in a year or so. It self-sows and becomes an invasive weed. It is all over my back yard now–even shows up in the sod. Definitely going to watch your dehydrating video and see what new ideas there are for using it. I love my big pots for food crops. This year I'll be trying potatoes in one and will also still be doing some tomatoes as well as 3-sisters corn and another pot with my horseradish.

  8. Your deck and yard are so beautiful. I also like to container garden in whiskey barrels but find that most of what I plant  in them does not require that depth of soil. To save on soil costs I fill the bottom half of the container with empty gallon milk jugs and then pour the soil on top.

  9. great info tessie . i need to rewatch this around feb or march . this way i can start my first herb garden . hugs from michigan . xoxo

  10. I'm going to container garden too. You didn't say to put holes in container.Dont you need drainage? We get flooding rain, and I've had pots w.no holes, and lost plants.

  11. My grandma always planted Johnny Jump Ups! I haven’t thought of them in years, but it’s a good idea for next year.

  12. Eventually I want to get wheels for the pots! That might be something you want too Tessie.Plants are like people…. They have different needs and can be tempermental… Gardening is my happy place!!
