  1. Thank you – this was just right! I needed a cheery, semi success this dark afternoon in Oregon.

  2. Just lovely! this is just beautiful. Will try this for the special people on my holiday card list. Hope you can help that poor dog next door!

  3. You are so inspiring to watch! Hope the dog gets taken care of poor thing. Can't imagine the strees of hearing that.

  4. Diane, these baubles are absolutely charming! I love your composition and you creativity. The leaves outlining them are a perfect addition. The embellishments are delightful. Thank you for the holiday card inspiration. On another note, I wish there were more people in the world that loved animals the way you do. Animals have no voice and yet feel emotions as much as we do. Not everyone gets that. Your heart is huge Diane. There's so much we can't control in life, and your watercolor channel has been incredibly therapeutic for me and I'm sure, many others. Breathe, paint, repeat……. xo

  5. These are lovely! Also always enjoy your little glimpses you give us about your life. Looking forward to the bells! I keep thinking I’m done with Christmas cards until you come up with more ideas! Grand fun. XOX❤️

  6. I sooo love your tutorials! It just lifts any mood I'm in sky high! Love these Christmassy designs, your darling birdies – oh just about everything you paint! Thank you for making the 'strugglers' amongst us feel better about art – I appreciate your kindness and talent ❤❤❤❤

  7. I love the simplicity of this design and yet it still looks elegant and classy. I also like your updated intro. I’m looking forward to seeing your bell designs. I was trying to do some on gift tags and found myself struggling with the shape as well. Not quite as easy as it looks.

  8. Diane, one of the many reasons I enjoy your channel is hearing your reflections on various subjects, be it art, love of nature and animals in particular or whatever you have on your mind. We have many in our urban neighborhood who do not care for their four-legged companions and it not only causes me much anxiety but makes me wonder about the humans; what has been missing in their lives that gives them this total disregard for fellow beings? It isn't ignorance alone, I don't think. We have had to report people before and fortunately did get prompt action. But that is not always the case. All creatures great and small as the hymn goes. All are worthy of love and care. (I'm not completely altruistic, mind you. I'd like to many humans throttled for sure and do not make any apologies for that).
Enough on that…I love seeing your many styles and your process in painting. You've been a great help and encouragement to me in this new adventure into art. I thank you for all you do! and as Carolyn Daughton (comment below) said, breath, paint, repeat. xo

  9. Thank you Diane for another sweet picture … you brighten my day … and inspire me as I travel
on my own watercolor journey … I love your little animals and am enjoying your other channel… 🥰☺ ps I enjoy your relaxed presentation …☺

  10. Diane, I was sorry to hear about the dog. I hope the animal safety people can do something. I'm glad to hear that you took action. It upsets me to see a dog tied up. People who don't understand how sensitive their pets are – well, I don't know what I'd do to them, but I think they might enjoy being treated in the same way, don't you? Don't worry about the woman who exposes her finger. Just imagine other things she might have displayed and count yourself fortunate not to have witnessed them.

  11. "Whatever you do, let it be fun." Diane Antone …. love that you said that, and love the creative Christmas picture you painted! I love the colors! Poor dog!!! I would be very disturbed by that myself! Ugh! some people certainly aren't as good as the animals they keep. Thank you for this tutorial…I love it! 🙂

  12. These are beautiful 😍 sorry to hear about your neighbor using sign language hopefully it works out for you

  13. That would bother me too. I live in Canada I had the same problem. It was a puppy the people left outside and went to work for the day. I called the police and they came and called the humane socially who came as well. The dog was not left outside any more

  14. Diane, thank you so for your inspiring videos. In the new year I am going to take time to watercolor. I have all the supplies. You make me feel like I can do this.

  15. Love this Christmas card idea Diane! Thanks for the tip on the handle! I had heard some thing about it but didn’t understand how it worked so thank you! Love your videos!

  16. beautifully simplistic painting. Perfect for a holiday card. And thank you for being such a caring person for your "nasty" neighbor's dog. I hope this issue can get resolved.

  17. Hi Diane, enjoyed this video and loved your color choices. Just curious if you have shown how to paint the two blue trees on your test paper? I would love to see it if so, thanks.

  18. Lovely Dianne … thanks for the inspiration 🙂 You ask where would you be at Christmas time without berries? You'd be here in Australia 😂

  19. Thank you SO much for caring about the neighbors poor dog. I will keep you and the dog in my thoughts and in my heart that the abuse is ended soon! And thanks for inspiring me to believe that I can make my own Christmas cards this year!
