  1. I just made a large fruitcake today actually! Classic Dark Fruitcake out of the Southern Cakes recipe book. Sprinkled 2 ounces of whiskey all over and will do a few more times prior to having for Christmas.

  2. I grew up in a country where there was very little choice and we were happy and contended. Lots of choice today and people, in general, are so unhappy. I don't understand.

  5. 35,914 children pulled from Tunnels under the China lake base think Ridgecrest Earthquakes and mk mind control

  6. Earthquakes all over the world 😳 🌎 are Bombs 💣 taking down Tunnels That were full of children 🌎 💣 😳 10km deep 😳 🌎 💣

  8. Have you tried the fruit cake cookies? My neighbor gave us some last year and they were so good.

  9. Toni, I believe as you we are headed for rougher times. I feel fortunate to have purchaced 14 acres some time ago and plan to have a big garden again. Now that I have retired I will have the time to do so. Good luck!

  10. I have been buying reusable paper towels, kitchen towels at garage sales, towels, material napkin's, table cloths. I still have disposable stuff. And I used cloth diapers with my children, and used the disposable diapers when we went out. I pureed our food, to make baby food for the baby. They just grew up like that. At least I knew what was in the food. So we're going back to old ways, and it does save 💰. Which is what we should be doing. I'm learning to can myself. And it's not hard. I used to be able to eat wheat, I'm extremely sensitive to fat now. So I have to stay away from lots of things due to my allergies. Anyhow we just need to keep doing what we're doing. I think you be done a great job with your family and preparing, your a good mama ☺️👍👍👍👍

  11. Thank you for your video.

AGGHHH!!!! …. 25 year old cheese? You're more spoiled than I am!

But who better to spoil oneself but oneself?
You know, I once gave to myself until I overflowed ? "My cup runneth over" kinda thing.

Surprised the heck out of me that I became such a miserable curmudgeon, .. you know, in my old age.
Oh well, just goes to prove that I expected far too much from a deluded filthy loser such as myself.

I once believed that a "good and decent" person needed a mandate, and being stupid enough to believe I was a good and decent person, … I gave myself one.
It went like this, … "No matter what I do, may it benefit everyone equally".

What an idiot!!!! AGGHHH!!!! Thinking I could benefit people too stupid to benefit themselves let alone their own children.

Oh well, ones greatest expectations always lead to ones greatest disappointments.

    SIGH

I was so surprised to discover I "served" my community better as a filthy loser than a good and decent person, …

    So be it.

    Good luck.

  12. We had our first snow in western Colorado on 11/03-04-2022. The mountains have had earlier snow. All this adds to drought relief.

  13. I grew up in a family of 11. Dad a WW2 vet, and a nonunion coal miner, , mom didn't work outside the home but welded ships during the war. It was a hard life. You do the best you can do and pray God touches the hardened hearts.

  14. just made 40 mini bundt fruitcakes and 6 loaf size; i have a sale coming up and for 2 yrs I didn't sell any due to the world events. I soak my fruit in rum for a week before assembling them. My recipe has been handed down for 5 generations and we love it. Our happy treat

  15. Check out Glenn Beck to find out some of what is going in in the USA it may answer some of your questions.

  16. i used cloth diapers for both my children (40 yrs ago) hung them out in the bitter cold winter on a line and used a wringer washer. In northern Ontario; and I would cry when my hands froze while doing it but I survived it.

  17. Planning on heading to the stores the next 2 days get more canning jars going to can hamburger and potatoes both are on sale so I'm going to can em up.

  18. My big problem is I have nowhere to store empty canning jars, and I have nowhere to store a large amount of food stocks. I have no pantry, no basement, no attic, and I live where it gets extremely cold in winter and extremely hot in summer. Every square inch of my house was built to be living space and not storage space. If my daughter and her two kids didn't live with us, then I could use 3 of the bedrooms with free-standing shelving, but I can't. Any creative ideas?

  19. Hard times ahead,so if you know any elderly people, try checking on them. If you know weather will very freezing, remember someone is freezing.

  20. if and when the shtf… I will form a small fast moving hit squad and first stops will be farms and preppers. along with securing large fuel stores for my "Mad Max" personal vehicle fleet.. providing protection to select few for excessive tribute and taxation… probably wear a breathing apparatus that makes my voice sound deeper and gruff and dress in black with unusual bone and skull type objects for added drama, intimidation and plain old fashion forward. Wherever possible I will hold public trials and summary execution immediately following the verdict…there will only be one verdict. I will fill my free time fine tuning my plans for world domination and of course writing my memoirs. I for one can't wait… let's do this!

  21. I work at a grocery store and the pain meds shelves are pretty bare. There are still items coming in but not in large amounts and done things are discontinued or just out of stock long term, at least that’s what I hear from those who do the ordering.

  22. I get up and go out I only eat once a day as well I just feel better. Most times I come in late and don't even eat .but I try to eat atleast nice a day.

  23. Third attempt at the store. Still no turkey. Ugh. I have a rabbit in the freezer, so I guess it will be a roasted rabbit Thanksgiving!

  24. There is just a report from Chris Sky saying the Freeland went to the USA last week and borrowed 1/2 a Billion dollars at the interest rate of 3%, without any knowledge or debate from parliament. We are done for

  25. I listened to your video this morning on my way to work but didn't have time to respond.

What will I do when TSHTF? I personally think it already has… my plan is to hunker down and try to weather it out. I have enough food in my pantry and multiple deep freezers to make it on just supplement grocery runs for at least a year. Could supplement with food from the ocean (fish, crabs, uni) as well. I finally have my chickens (ordered 10, 9 arrived, and all 9 survived, really only wanted 6 but I'm happy for extra – already promised my coworkers some eggs) so I'll be drowning in eggs this winter/spring. I have started growing some fruit trees indoors (like oranges) for supplemental fruit, and stocked up on my most used seasonings/spices. I am fairly well prepared. Also considered barter potential in my selections (eggs, coffee plants for beans, etc) and I already have plenty of hobbies to keep me from being bored. My most expensive hobby right now is weaving, and I've stocked up on yarn for a good while and plan to ask for more for Christmas. I just have to make sure I keep a tight grip on my wallet. I have a stable job and I'm not looking to screw it up on anything else potentially less stable.

The Bid-inflation here has already hit. Classico sauce used to be 1 dollar a bottle…saw it "on sale" for 2.50 per bottle this week. Restaraunts near me are now not posting their menus with prices and the prices fluctuate without warning. Two years ago a rice bowl and a burrito at this one place near me would've been 15 dollars, yesterday it was 32. I'll never go back there again. My husband loves to eat out. I'd rather cook. He'll have to adjust.

There's so much more going on. I'm just thankful that I have prepared out of habit my whole life. It will be difficult at first but it is livable. If our grandparents could do it, we can too, and we'll be a better, more grateful people for it. Pray for those souls who have never been hungry. They are in for a rough time.

I think it hasn't sunk in yet for most people because they've never experienced hardship beyond a broken heart. I think by Christmas it will.

  26. I used cloth diapers they were cheaper a lot of work but when you are low on money you do what ever you have to
Great video always love your ideas and your great information. God bless you 🙏 ❤ and yours

  27. Today it was in the 50's here, so I went to sit outside awhile. Very disturbing to hear gunfire repeatedly. I know it's hunting season, but never heard an hour long battery of gunshots 10-15 then a 2min pause and 10-15 more then 30 seconds pause then more gunshots. I had to come back inside to calm myself, prayed and even considered calling the sheriff to find out if something had gone completely shtf. Now I know what I will do, remain inside, praying and not calling the sheriff. Time to oil Bessie the 38, and stand my ground. Bible in my hands, Bessie on my belt. Keeping my coat ready and shoes on. When shtf, it's basic survival mode

  28. Speaking of food, Mom told me Grandpa worked on a farm during the depression. They would let him choose his pay weekly, either a bushel of corn or 25 cents. He would alternate them. We never know what will happen.

  29. Never in my 89 yo Great Depression Era father's life would he believe he would be living in another depression. We are waiting for Tuesday to get here so we can go vote for Herschel Walker. There's no way Commie Stacy Abrams will ever be the Governor of Georgia. My late mother use to love to make fruit cake. It is expensive and time-consuming but we like it. As for myself, I buy Claxton Fruitcake. It's made in Claxton, Georgia, and is a tradition at Christmas. I bought and canned some Bartlett pears a couple days ago. My pear tree didn't bear fruit this year because we had a late freeze so all the blooms died. I want to can some ghee since Aldi will have the 2019 Thanksgiving prices to help folks with the cost this year. I used cloth diapers for my two boys many years ago. Today was my youngest sons 42nd Birthday. Wow, where has the time gone to?

  30. I love your musings and am comforted that there are good people like you with similar thoughts and concerns to my own. Please keep sharing.

  31. There is always and always has been something to do in the way of ensuring we have what we need for security and comfort here. Food and ways to keep safe and healthy are a priority but there are other areas I keep working on. My grandson lives here. He is six now but will not be six for long. Right now, I'm working on provisions to keep him busy, learning and entertained should we need to hunker down. Supplies for crafts, books a little ahead of his reading level now, a few treats that he won't grow out of fast, such as Lego bricks, are all being bought in thrift stores and cheap outlets. They are never wasted and are cheap and easy to find right now.

  32. Love that you two work together making meals! My hubby is not interested in cooking. At all. But he can order a mean pizza!

  33. I do not understand why so many people are so angry and can act out without thinking about the consequences. I feel like our civilization has become uncivilized. Kindness and respect would get us a lot further along than all the hate. Whatever happened to treat others as you would want others to treat you. I also heard today the antibiotic amoxicillin is in short supply, not good for this time of year. TFS 👍🙏🥰

  34. Calm………..Miss T I think the storm is already here. Perhaps we are in the eye of the storm.
