  1. I love your design creations but I'm afraid that the fireplace may be too busy with lots of textures. Especially because mantel have so many details and they are very delicate.

  2. As far as out of stock items go at the hardware store…..I always shop online first, and choose the 'pick up in store' or curbside delivery'. It's very fast and efficient and eliminates visiting additional stores looking for those things which I don't have to hand select, like the plaster of paris. Then I go inside to select the wood and any supplies I want to inspect on an individual basis. You're making such great progress! Happy Birthday to your sweet baby!

  3. just ann fyi, never rinse your mushrooms, just wipe off with damp towel…they will absorb the water and taste like nothing…or dirt. You are just the most creative person, love all your videos!

  4. I'm guessing the brick with the name D'HANIS is a town between the town of Hondo and town of Sabinal. D'hanis is a very small town on the way to Uvalde from San Antonio. My family and I have driven through D'Hanis since I was a child.

  5. Purchase an electric water kettle, mine brings 8cups of water to a rolling boil in 2min. You can fill your pot that way. 😃

  6. Tip on the slow water boiling situation. Warm the water in your coffeemaker first and then transfer it to the pot in the stove to boil. It cuts time, also If you have a lid use it! Even if it's bigger it'll work 😉

  7. Sorry I really love to see your vlogs but lately I dont see that has a real contents to me is just bla bla and is very sad cause I started watching you often than Lone but now he is doing much better

  8. Good Lord girl! I know it's too late to stop you about the shelf boards BUT in the future don't buy the better quality wood if you are going to paint it, use regular pine ( hell I've used plywood) get MDF for any bracing, barcketing etc, as it's cheaper and easier to deal with and just as sturdy. I've built many sheleves and find 1×2 stock works fine for a shelf bracket. ( hard to describe) cut two pieces to fit the depth of shelf just a little shorter ( so the end doesn't show when you place the shelf) to act as a ledge on each side for the board to rest on. Hey finding an old bookshelf and repurposing the wood is even better. It's not cutting corners, it's saving time and money.

  9. Happy Birthday to Kinsley!!!! I love watching all of your progress, it is so fun to see your process, and how you roll with the punches.
