Hey guys, I’m posting this project video next week and thought I’d make a playlist of frequently asked questions that will help throughout the build. Leave any questions below and I’ll answer them tomorrow in a Sunday morning in the shop video… Have a great Saturday night, Jon

That looks like even I can put it together with my basic skills. Looks fantastic! I especially like the way you measure your pieces in general, as I’ve tried to emulate that.
Could you please, maybe talk about ( uhm …teach us) how to measure and mark your components, before cutting? Great content, as per usual!
Is this for your shed build?
That is a nice muted white!
I'd be interested in the paint type and what sprayer tips/dilution, etc.
The table is looking fantastic, Jon! 😃
Looking forward to the build video!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I look forward to that build.
Is that a bit similar to your cherry table as far as design is concerned?
No questions from me, Jon. It looks like a straightforward build.

Well done and it looks great!
Is the idea that the inside should show natural wood and the outside is white?
Hi Mr. Jon.
I am curious what the added length is of the drawer backs that keep them from falling out ? And/or do you have a formula for deciding how long the extra length is ?
And thanks for all the information you share with us
I love the leg designs. Are you going to have plans for these? I have already purchased your cherry table one and would love to have this as well.
It looks like the drawer runners are a different wood. Yes or no. If yes then why?
Yes. I'd like more info on the continuous grain. How its cut out and so forth. Thanks!
Shellac first, Jon!! 🙂 Poplar or soft maple. We can't get Poplar where I live. Thumbs up.
Always love your designs and builds, John. Thanks for teaching us 😊
2:45 heck if you paint it you still don’t want to deal with a seam. And not to be a philistine but you could build a lot of the understory from plywood if you’re going to paint it. Thanks for using pocket screws!
One question are the legs held together with pocket-holes as well…long time sub love the channel 👊✌️🇨🇦
Hey Jon, nice work! I've gained experience woodworking and then furniture refinishing and am now moving into furniture manufacture with some furniture painting so I have a dumb question: Do you spray any extra layers of paint if the raw wood is very absorbent (on principle or just after observing the effect) or not? Thanks!
I find it interesting how furniture goes through cycles of natural then painted and back again. It would be interesting to see your desk in a hundred years to see someone strip it down in hopes of staining it only to find it was really built to be painted. My grandmothers kitchen chairs were factory built and my mom had them dip-stripped and wanted them stained but, the wood was a whole variety of mixed hardwoods with wildly different grain patterns and blemishes. I got the chairs, repaired them and then painted them three different bold primary colors. They look super. Wonder in a hundred years…
Can you please post a link to the leg supplier. Thank you Pat
Jon you make awesome stuff. Even your simple items are great. Thanks for sharing.
Nice work Jon! You make it look so simple.
It's gonna look super dope when all finished Jon. Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
