Join us and follow our November allotment jobs tour for allotment gardening in the UK. There are plenty of jobs to be getting on with in November on the allotment and here we show what we are doing. We visit our back garden vegetable patch as well as the UK allotment in this tour.

November is a good month to sow seeds for over wintering peas and beans. Today we are sowing our two varieties from the Budget Seed Company www.budgetseeds.co.uk

We are also clearing the back garden vegetable garden as the tomatoes and aubergines are finished for the season so clearing the ground is a good way to tidy up ready for the winter.

At the allotment we are harvesting some beetroot after we cover the kale with some netting. The birds are already eating our kale so as the winter gets harsher we are sure they will come back for more and possibly eat it all. The scaffold netting that we ordered was https://amzn.to/3TfVLza

  1. Hi there, we've just taken on an allotment after a 3yr wait. I've been watching your videos the last 3 weeks, your my favourite gardener to watch and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. We've mostly been digging over, and will be bordering in the edges. Also fixing the shed door! I really can't wait to get growing vegetables for my family. Looking forward to your next video 🙋‍♀️

  2. Really helpful vlogs for me as a newbie, so many thanks. I can recommend the Beet Bourguinon from Richard and Paul's channel, I think it is just their names as the channel title. Made the chilli jam recipe you recommended too, it was so easy and tastes delicious. Happy Saturday.
