  2. Allen, I love your gardening, cooking, and awesome decorating ideas. Your mannerism is so calm and friendly. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. And what a beautiful farm, especially your chickens.

  3. Today is perfect weather to work on my garden but I am sick in bed with the flu. Watching your channel today has brought me so much comfort. I'm looking forward to the growing season!

  4. I am a new subscriber. I love your channel! I am planning to become a full time gardener and farmer! Wish me good luck. Thank you for all you do! You're awesome!

  5. Thank you for using lemons and limes in your arrangement, as you said Affordable, unlike some lifestyle personalities I could name who use things like a dozen artichokes, etc. in an arrangement, when was the last time one of these people priced a single artichoke?

  6. Mr.Smith you hve a lovely vedios I love them…nice flowers,and veg I love thanku so much…🌹⚘🌻🌺😊❤

  7. I see that you're not afraid to dig around in your garden beds quite a bit. What are your thoughts on the practice of not disturbing the soil to keep the biology like insects, good bacteria and fungus intact and healthy – the "no-dig method"?

  8. I always add Epsom salt when planting tomato plants. I too adore daffodils, I planted over two thousand bulbs years ago and love the growing display in the spring. I even found some in the woods at an old home place (only the chimney was left) and dug up a few for my garden. They are yellow, very full ruffle/double without the back row of petals. I've been filling eight new raised beds this spring with mushroom compost and old leaves. Happy gardening!

  9. I just found your channel on YouTube after many years of watching you on PBS stations. I must say that you seem like one of the absolute nicest people. I always feel like giving you a big hug when I first see you & then again when I know you are signing off. I love all that you share, but I just really like YOU.

  10. I have been using epsom salt on my vegetable garden this year 😍 bam my fruits have been plenty and juicy this year .💖🙏

  11. Oh my gosh you have changed my life ..thank you so much. I hope you read this and do you have any advice i just became a home owner and new to gardening. There is an old garden bed that has weeds all in it but I think there is good soil down there. Do you have any advice on how to revive an old garden bed?

  12. Thank you for telling us the type of lumber and size you used for your raised beds. That’s the type of information that is truly helpful!!

  13. Wow over 450,000 daffy's, that's some serious work! but well worth the effort, it's such a stunning view! Daffodils bring that much needed colour, sunshine all round! 👍😊

  14. What is your most recent book for container gardening or any gardening book.? When searching books the latest book I saw was 2010. Do those books reflect the same ideas you have for today?
