    I dont know who needs to hear this!Stop relying on the government and savings. Invest some of your money if you want financial stability, having several income streams is not a bad idea

    Bless your heart! You are so right, everything is commercialized. If a person doesnt have the Lord they are not going to make it. We have to stay prayed up.

    The way I handle Thanksgiving dinner is to buy ahead. This year, I am using LAST YEARS purchase such as canned green beans, soups, canned pumpkin for pies, etc. The best buy dates are STILL good. As these items go on sale this year, I buy them and put into a box for NEXT YEAR. As for the fresh items, I don't buy those at once either. I bought a small turkey breast at Walmart last month and put in freezer. It took me several week to find pie crust but now they are in the freezer as well. I bought sour cream and cream cheese last week while on sale after seeing the "best buy date is December and will be perfectly fine for November Turkey day. Be slow and methodical with your purchases and check off your list. Keep in mind that NOT everything has to come from Walmart!

    I feel so bad for the elderly. They are struggling with these prices. You see them in the stores examining every item. It’s tragic. You shouldn’t get to the end of your life and have to worry where your next meal is coming from. We need everyone to “adopt” a grandparent like they do in Japan.

    Wal-Mart here in Atlanta ga I saw cranberry sauce there for $2.49 a can ..I literally jump back at that high price😲😲..thank goodness I still have about 3 cans left that's still in date..that's ridiculous…all these prices are outrageous…it's really sad😢 ..take everybody as much as possible…🤷🤷

    I know locations are different, but I went to the Walmart in Roswell, GA yesterday. The shelves were 80% full on the grocery aisles and the prices were reasonable. This is normal because Friday and early Saturday shoppers took some off the shelves.

    Plenty of turkeys. There was nothing I needed that was not there.

    In ny/NJ the salami that it's wrapped in a roll,long,ufff it was $6.99 now it's $21-24,, outrageous,I ran ,I caught 6 for $8 each n tropical white cheese for $4.99 but this week,that cheese will cost $10 n up for bigger pack

    My youngest military son after war,he wanted to adopt a small pug,from that country,3 mths later he got a call from a pet adoption clinic for veterans,he paid in total $3,000 in total to cover shipping n caring n shots n 6 free vet visits in fla, payment plan was $60 mth,he paid 1 yr in payments,n his pug was 6 mths old,doing beautiful in fla,n it's a registered emotional support pup also,so yes ,it all depends,hope you understand Tammy ❤️you may not known that information

    I knew this was coming last yr. I bought my turkey and a holiday ham then and put them in the deep freeze .So grateful I had that insight coz Im on a fixed income now. Ive got all I need but Im still trying to get extra whenever I can. Hang on to your hats, we are in for a bad roller coaster ride. Im praying for the elderly, if you know them please be checking on them. Im on the look out for socks and blankets ,gonna be a cold winter.

    A lot of places down here in Florida are really taking a licking because of Ian hurricane 🌀 Some stores are playing catch up with their prices. People who were hit hard in Florida many are still seeking help. The pantries are not stocked like they used to be either, so families that counted on them fir help are finding it harder. Let's keep paying attention to what really is important and forget the miscellaneous stuff.

    Wow in Nevada the turkeys are 99cents a pound. Why is the East Coast so different from the West? The west coast doesn’t yet experience the magnitude of prices like the East. They are higher but crap you guys are suffering at a whole different level!

    Prices will keep going up too. Russia rejected a grain deal that the UN made. The US keeps sending wheat overseas instead of storing it for the American people like Joseph did in Egypt during the 7-year drought. We are in real trouble and we need leadership. And we need to store up our own grain because the drought is coming.

    Now is NOT the time to panic over this….Yes, we all KNEW prices would go way up and some will in fact go into panic mode. Keep calm, there are some videos of how to do cheap meals on a budget. Improvise, Adapt and overcome! Yes, this includes changing your taste buds for a bit, but panicking won't help you. Since they are burning refineries that make diesel, wonder if they will now start burning refineries for GAS…I can see how thousands will be hurt when they find out they have to walk MILES to get food…instead of taking the car. Rural areas, watch out, they want and demand you get an EV which is where this may go…so like NO WAY am I going to get an EV. I will get a horse before that happens!
