  1. You could call it the gator garden! Or the swamp! Chock FULL of every nutrient you could probably name and probably numerous nutrients nobody could name plus, no gators!! Oooh, I would LOVE to forage in the swamp! If not for those darn gators. They just sort of mosey around in Florida. Plenty of food in the swamp so they just sort of take nice, leisurely walks around town and sun themselves at the water hazards on the golf course. Darnedest thing I ever saw but so awesome that folks mostly just let them be and go wherever they want. They're not hungry, apparently, so they just stroll around to see what's going on I guess. It would be really cool if they'd inform you when they're going to be out and about so you could sneak into their environment and forage around…of course, if there's one, there's probably 20 others so that might not work…

  2. That's good for y. You have big land. Most people don't have that

  3. Oh my gosh, I love this idea!! Last year they had these pools for $1 each to clear them out. I will defiantly be looking for this in the fall before the snow. You both do amazing things.

  4. Thanks for your brilliant and simple explanation! Here in Germany: too many rules and garden regulations. It's even against the law to hang out your laundry outside!

  5. Wow! Hello folks! What a food Forrest! Looks good! I like the swimming pool garden! Thank you for sharing your garden ideas! Beautiful! Enjoy your day. 🖐❤😁

  6. I appreciate y'all so much!!! You two are not reinventing the wheel. But you're sure showing another way to produce one😉 Thank y'all so much for that 😊

  7. Love your channel. I’m a fairly new sub. This is my first time seeing Gary on your channel. Is that your hubby? Sending love from Australia to you both ❤️

  8. I thought I'm hearing an Aussie, so I listen again, …good onya, Gary. I see why you have the bottle brush, Kangaroo paws, bananas, pawpaw/papaya, and Queensland canna. You made me smile. I'm rooting for you two, mate. Though, you and I know what 'root' means to us Aussies LOL 'Barracking' doesn't sound funny but the Americans get it LOL I'm an Islander kiwi (Cook Islands) living in Adelaide, South Australia. I'm in a Temperate zone from you and Robbie over there.

I thoroughly enjoy the simple tips you two share on your channel. It's true gardening doesn't have to be hard and expensive. I came from a grower's background. I have a small garden going in my front and backyard. I mainly grow in the ground but have some stuff in containers too. As I'm getting older, I do lazy methods too from no-dig' to planting in cardboard boxes. I have fruit trees and berries too. I'm still adding to my food forest 🙂

Gary, do you have a demo video on how you set up your strawberry moat and details on the solar pump? I'm thinking of growing some taro but my current situation is too dry for them to grow healthy. Cheers to you and Robbie!

  9. You guys are too cute! Hope all is well! I'm new to your channel and love it! I will try some of the totes on my condo balcony! Great job Gary! You're encouraging my hubby, Greg, to get a house!

  10. Thank you for showing this. I love it. I’m going to try and create one of these gardens for my water spinage. Or Kang kong plant. There would be so many other plants that love water I could use this for. Love from Australia

  11. Wow finally I've been waiting for this how to video to pop up. So glad it finally did. I couldn't find it under your guys videos. Thanks so much I love this idea. I bought pools for our house warming party to hold cold drinks and food and saving them to do this project. It's finally here so I'm so excited 😊 I can finally set this up. I'm like Gary I don't want much work. Omg loving the pump too this whole set up I'm gonna copy thanks so much Gary.
