The fun continues as parents and I carry on with some hard work on my little off grid barn conversion in Central Portugal. We’ve accomplished a lot already, but there’s always more to do as we prepare for a little gathering at my place and get on with several pressing jobs around the place.

Also, one of my best friends, Sinead, joins us for a week! She’s Irish but lives in Liberia and has come to Portugal to look at a piece of land that neighbours mine, which is incredibly exciting news! Plus she helps with some work and is generally hilarious. I’m very excited to see her again after around three years and I’m hoping she becomes my neighbour!

There’s some fun stuff in this video, I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching and I’ll see you on Friday for the last episode about their visit!

  2. Lots of happy news! One of your BFF's is there buying property next to you! Mom and Dad have demonstrated that they are work-aloholics. So much tiding up happened! It looks so much better! I think you have enough hot peppers to last a very long time? You seem very spunky and energized! Great video!

  3. Really love watching your time with both your parents and your friend. The improvements have put you in a good direction to just keep moving on. It is like peeling an onion. One layer at a time.

  4. The Comedy Show 😁 and great progress. Great to see you all having fun πŸ˜€

  5. (27:43) FYI, I think your tape measure key chain is cool, I had one like that back in the day. One day when I went to unlock the car, the key would not work. Locksmith told me that the excess counterweight caused by my keychain caused my key to wear down prematurely to the point it became no longer functional. Make a spare and keep it handy. This was in California, the locksmith charged me $120.00 USD back in 2007. Great video, love your parents!!

  6. What a team!! Your folks are such good sports and glad your lovely friend came to visit too. Were those larger green round peppers Scotch Bonnets?

  7. crazy, but i don't like chili or pesto and i've never heard of jalapenos – had to google – also such a spicy stuff

  13. Your parents are soo lovely but your dad is pretty funny and your friend brings more laughter out lol hope you both do some videos back and forth from her place and then yours lol. I really love the size of your place. it’s just me but if you clear the whole front of your place and push all working and gardening stuff way back. Make yourself a
working area with shade. That way you have
    the front yard declutter lol.

  14. I just loved how you said: "Maybe I am, maybe I amny". So Scottish! I guess I'll ask where your Dad hails from? I was born in Paisley myself.
