After showing you around the garden I had a few requests to see the inside of the cottage. So here is a little tour. Please remember it is our home and not a show home, it’s not perfect and it’s messy in places but that’s ok – we are happy here. The cottage is about 250 years old and was originally a miners cottage. It’s very small and cozy. Hope you enjoy having a look around.

I really enjoyed the tour. I just recently lost my mother, and my house is filling with mementos of her. I'm glad you have these lovely things from your mother (she did a wonderful job with that horse!). Are your dogs American Eskimo? We have that breed here, and they look very much like yours.
What a gorgeous home, full of character and interesting things. I love the doll’s house. I wall mounted a doll’s house I found in a charity shop and used it as a bathroom cabinet.

Such a cosy cottage. Like you I love free standing kitchens and because there was no kitchen to speak of in my cottage when I bought it I could do that. I can't get enough of cottage content!

Please DONT put blue ANYTHING!! in your bathroom hon, you will ruin the ambience immediately. Go for green instead, it's so much more relaxing and won't jar against the colours you already have in there.

Hello everyone, thank you for watching! I will not be accepting new comments on the video as there are too many misguided or mean ones and I don’t want them here. I would like to challenge those of you who feel the house is too messy (I didn’t ask). I wanted this video to be an honest video of our home, it’s not a show home, it’s a lived in happy place. Please also think on how women are judged by the tidiness of their homes still, and how much of a waste of our energy that is. I have better things to do than keep the house tidy for the sake of a YouTube video (for goodness sake 😂).
