Huge compost delivery, so it’s time to expand the backyard garden…again! The idea here is to let this bed condition a bit before the summer comes. I want tomatoes, peppers, okra, eggplant, and more in this bed, and we’ll be showcasing a few different trellising methods so there will be an option for anyone in any size garden or budget.

Oh my goodness your new bench! Love, love, love it! Family is everything and comes first! It shows in your new book video with your grandma and your golden beet video with your Mom. I can just imagine they are both so proud of you! Yes I am a Mom too. ;o)
You're such a fortunate man to have found that home 🙂 The yard is wonderful.
I see you rocking the tried and true tsinelas! respect. congrats on the new expansion!
Love your beautiful gardens, so tidy. The new bed is so wide I’m wanting to split it down the middle with a pathway so you don’t have to step on it.
I see those in-ground beds and wonder where in San Diego you are that you DON’T have a massive gopher problem to deal with. We are infested in my Clairemint neighborhood, and had 2 of my new citrus trees destroyed by them (tops completely chewed off!) and tomato plants disappear overnight. Buggers Won’t fall for traps and smoke bombs seem to not phase them.
Nice. Keep up the good work.
Love the new bed (I love tomatoes, does it show?). How are the dragonfruit doing? I got to try a yellow one recently. It was grocery store, and not in the best shape, but still delicious, I can't imagine how much better home grown must taste!
I was watching your drip irrigation upgrade video from last year and noticed your arched trellis. I’m looking for one just like it, fairly substantial in size, but very simple (not ornate). Do you happen to remember the brand or where you got it? Can it be disassembled (even partially) when not in use?
Achacha tree is what you need
Your town's compost is much better than my town's. My town's compost is full of glass and plastic.
Oooh a video on the seedling table, yes please! I am also loving that trellis on the giant bean at 06:16 im planning to use bamboo and twine, but I want a cool metal trellis thingy >.<
Kevin – Do you need to amend fresh compost like what was delivered? I used 1 yard of compost just like that for a small grass patch and tilled into the native soil, but the whole thing turned hard on me.
I’m so happy you’re growing wheat to make bread I’ve always wanted to do that
Bermuda is the bane of my existence! Have you done a video on how you deal with it?
Never heard of Tomatomania- checked it and wow!!!😊
Can watch your videos over and over again..love your new place but feel somewhat homesick from your previous epic garden 🤭 when you get time could you please do a video on hose fittings and your opinions on them? I assume you have come across many.
Shout-out to the new shed making a cameo!
Peel off labels and stickers from cardboard boxes to speed up decomposition!
id be a cute idea to have a little perennial or seasonal flower garden to bring in a lot of the pollinators and have some nice colors c:
Have you tested square foot gardening?
Kevin, you look like a summer super star with your shorts, hat and shades!!! Love your new beds and plantings. Makes me wish I lived in Ca instead of in CO at 8600' with a winter storm warning for the next three days….
How did you clear out the Bermuda grass?
Yard really looks good …
1:36 It's Corona time, wey!
Free composite?? Where and how
How do you get free compost? Should I just contact my landfill?
