  1. Glad you like it. I got the Nesco electric canner last year and absolutely love it for small batches. Happy canning 🥰🥰🥰

  2. I also have the Nesco canner , it’s my Buddy ! I was concerned about it being as good as a traditional canner , found a channel Rose Red Homestead . She does lots of testing … it passed ! Now I can ALL THE TIME ! Thank you for the wonderful peaceful video .

  3. My Ball book says 50 minutes for quarts for fresh black eye peas. It says 40 minutes for pints. Green peas have a 40 minute quart cook time. Just want people to can safely. I have this canner and love it

  4. I saw this canner on another channel a few weeks ago, and put one in my Amazon cart. I think your video is gonna make me hit that ‘place order” button! Great video!

  5. Sweet voice and slow graphics movements are so relaxing, interesting machine! 😼📚

  6. Thank you for the video. I have not seen the pressure canner at work and you made it look easy and your directions were very clear.

  7. Loved seeing you use your new electric canner, peas looked great, thanks for sharing this great information.

  8. Mrs Hoss Thank You for the review on your new canner !! What a beautiful sunrise so peaceful .. Happy canning 😊

  9. Now those are some beautiful peas. Will taste yum with creamed corn, sliced tomatoes, and fried chicken. I saw the Stivers visit with y’all. Also Tracy a few weeks ago. My mom lives in Hahira. How far is that from your office? I was born is south GA. Love it there. Beautiful country!

  10. Good video! I have one of those canners and you've inspired me to actually use it. I follow you and RoseRed. Thanks for sharing this wonderful how-to! I need to get some Zipper pea seeds from you. I love your seeds and have great germination with all of them. This is Dolly

  11. Thanks Mrs Hoss, just purchased me one of those canners after watching your video. Been on the fence about it for a while, you made it look too easy so I went for it lol

  12. I also have been using a Nesco pressure canner for about three years now. I primarily use it in the winter time doing small batches of meat products that are on sale. I save my presto 23 quart for the heavy canning in the summer and fall for large batches of vegetables. I too have appreciated Rose Red Homestead for her scientific testing on electric canners. By far my Nesco is my favorite canner. I never use the water bath setting, it’s a waste of time.

  13. I have a Nesco. A friend of mine has the Presto. I love how easy the electric canners are for small batches.

  14. My wife uses this caner and it works !! I love the fact that it does not heat up the house. Living in Florida. We stay warm just about year around. So this thing makes it are most used caner.

  15. Very detailed explanation step by step, I realy apreceate when someone takes the time to fully explain things like this. Best I have ever seen. Thank you and God bless.

  16. I grew zipper cream peas and purple hull peas this year. Even during the drought, mine produced, and kept going until we had a couple nights of freak 20° temps in October. I will be planting both peas again next year..

  17. I have a friend that's using the nuwave pressure cooker with the canning button to can meat. I'm thinking this is not safe 🤔
