What is the lifespan of the Snowflake Hydrangea? I planted six in the front yard of our historic home in 2001. They were so gorgeous and massive, I planted seven in the back yard about a decade later. I am wondering if they are coming to the end of the lifespan or so much rain since the beginning of 2020.

My understanding is the Oakleaf Hydrangea is Alabama's state Wildflower.
