Great info. Thanks 💙🐞💙
Great video with lots of useful info! Thanks for the ideas!
Good one, I subscribe to Alexandra’s channel too. Great idea for a collab! 👍
Great video! Love both your channels.
I'm a planner, (tape measure and graph paper in hand) and also the plunk it (plant something and don't like it in that area, so I move it a year or two later) type of gardener! It's possible to be both at the same time! My friends and family just laugh at me and ask, 'what did you get now?' when I call to ask if I can borrow a pickup (I finally got my own) or a strong back for the afternoon. LOL
Thank you for the tips! We have a lot of potted plants on our apartment patio. Here in zone 5 Illinois. I'll have to go back out tomorrow and mulch them again.
What an awesome idea!!!
watch her a lot. good advice
Such a cool exchange of information!
It was nice to see both perspectives, thank you!
Great information, especially from Alexandra, because she's in a zone closer to mine (zone 9b/10a mediterranean). Winter of 2019 has been a cold and unusual everywhere it seems. We even got two nights of snow!! I was frantically covering my plants in my veranda and balcony those rough nights. I can't even dare to imagine how hard your winters must be.
Have a great day and stay warm!! 😊
This was so great! I love and watch you both and I think the zone contrasting was brilliant. You both are such inspiring gardeners!
Great topic for comparison!
Thank you! Great info and inspiration.
I’m so happy you did a video with Alexandra. I love it when my favorite YouTubers team up.
Thanks for the tip on a new Garden YouTube channel to watch. I love watching different gardeners.
Love that you did a collaboration with Alexandra. I love both your channels. Thanks to both of you for all the great tips. I garden in an area that is similar to Alexandra's but I always get great information from your channel too. I'm just north of Seattle in Zone 8B.
Awesome video. Love the sharing from you both! Great idea. I’m a zone 8b, so both your videos are helpful. I subscribe to you both. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for this! I’ve followed the middle size garden for a while, and wondered what zone she was in; the same zone I’m in 🤗! Now I know her garden hints will work in my area 😊
This was so well done and very timely. Thanks for a great video! Just the inspiration I need to get out into the garden on these cold grey days.
This is super that you've paired up with Alexandra. Love both of your channels and looking forward to more great advice.
I can't believe that the middle sized garden is zone 9. I live in the South of France in a zone 8 with very hot summers and mild winters.Corsica is a Zone 9 and is extremely arid in the South. I am British from the South West of England and have been living in the med for 40yrs.
I have been following you two for a long time! Great to see you together!
Erin, I would love to see a video on how you plan a new garden area . Measuring, mapping on graph paper and picking the plants. Then how you transfer that to the actual space in the garden. I think that would help a lot of us plan for spring! Love your channel.
What a great video!!! Love your channel. Thanks for all the time you spend on these!! 😊
I love the partnership!!!
Awesome collaboration Erin! Thanks for sharing your tips. Time to get to planning for next year.
I really enjoyed this video with the two takes. Really well done Erin. Also thanks for the reference for another channel to watch during the winter months 🙂
love your videos ..am zone 3 I always heavy cover my plants with leafs ..
What fun! I loved that the two of you teamed up on this project. Thank you for this interesting and so informative pair of videos.
Enjoyed seeing the difference between zones, personally wishing I lived in a zone 9, imagine mowing your lawn in December 🤔.
Look forward to any information on your seed plants and your future side garden. As always love your videos. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Yay! I follow you AND Alexandra.. so fun to see the 2 of you (together) in a video!
I love that Alexandra washes her trees, LOL. I would totally do that if I had them!
I so enjoyed this video!!! I refer to myself as the graph paper queen. I don't know how people do projects without it lol. so glad your channel was recommended by garden answer. looking forward to what comes next
Hi Erin. Could you please do a video on when to plant bulbs in a planter? I’d like to have some tulips and mini iris’s to have indoor in the spring. Do you plant them now and do nothing….just set the planter aside and then start watering indoors in March? Or do I save the bulbs and plant them in the planter in the spring? Thanks. Also, any chance your heading to “The Great Big Home and Garden Show” in Cleveland in Jan/Feb?

New favorite word…YARDEN!
Love this collaboration! I subscribe to both your channels! Neat seeing you two together in one video. 😁
Very beneficial collaboration – thanks a bunch ladies
Great fun ! Great info !
Uuuu
Great video. I'm smack in the middle of you both – zone 7 in central NC. I love playing with garden planning and just bought a grow light system for some succulents and other things I'm trying to overwinter. Thinking about starting some things from seed for next year. We're (finally) getting some major landscaping done around the house, and I've asked the landscaper to leave me some blank spaces to add some things on my own.
I am so NOT ready to think about planning my garden right now. I know I will be in February though. Thank you for all the tips – designing the garden straight from a drawing is the best.
Love those hydrangeas behind you! GORGEOUS!😍
I live in zone 7b in Alabama so both of your climates are so different from mine that they could well be on another planet (well, not really, but you know…). But seeing her mow her lawn in the Winter and washing her birch tree trunks (with a SPONGE!) about made my eyeballs pop out!😂 Although my lawn could probably use a good mowing… Anyway, it was good info from both of you and highly entertaining at the same time!❤❤❤
OMAGOSH!! I am in love with that spiral Alexandra has in the center. Did she do that herself?!
Two of my favorite gardeners – Erin & Alexandra! Thank you for all your tips and inspirational ideas. I've been watching both your channels eagerly. It's been a great help with my own gardening (Madison, WI, zone 4b/5a), especially in these tough times. Thank you both so much! P.S. I also watch the Yulia from the Y Garden and the incomparable John Lord from John Lord's Secret Garden ☀️
I would like a suggestion for frost free pots. Thanks
You have garden in your yarden :)))) Great tips, thanks! ♥
