How to make a self watering wicking bed.

A great option when you have a small space and it also saves you time because you don’t have to keep watering the plants.

  1. perlite is very expensive in my country is there another way ? and is it possible to have more than 6cm of reservoir ?

  2. I presoak with water first for perlite to avoid fine dust fly everywhere.
I punch hole on the bag use knife and submers it in water.

  3. Great video with easy to follow instructions! How are you going with your "VegePod"? I have also purchased a 1x 1m "Vegepod" and as they're quite expensive I was looking for a way to make my own and came across your site. I had a little chuckle to myself when I saw your footwear at the beginning of the video and thought to myself " that is so Aussie!" and I couldn't have been more correct!

  4. how often you have to add water?  If I go out of town could this be without me adding water for 6-8 weeks??
