    I planted walking onions a year ago and they are huge plants but they have yet to set a single bulb. They look just like yours but no bulbs. Any idea on how to get them to set the bulbs?

    I don't have walking onions they are hard to find. I plant the scallions that I buy cut above the roots and plant them. They do really well here.

    I love your walking onion videos. Im growing them for the first time. My question is, can I take one leaf off at a time while they are growing, to consume…. and if so, how do I know that I got the right one? Im concerned that I will get the one onion leaf that produces the baby onions. Or does each "stem" produce babies on the one plant? Hope this makes sense. I dont have an abundance of onions so Im trying to keep them growing. Thank you !

    I have to say, all hope is not lost if they do dry out. I once clipped one off and put it in a cabinet and forgot about it. Months later they had all sprouted green tops, just like garlic would if you left it too long. Planted them and they grew like crazy.
