What address could I send some tree seeds to. I got them to grow in raked leaves mixed with peat moss. It’ll be a surprise ☺️ If you decide to grow them, I’d love to see video progress.
The bark of the tree looks like crape myrtle. Looks good trimmed or bushy.
Wouldn't you want to prune the top to encourage horizontal growth for picking without a latter?
If this is invasive as one comment says , this is good for live fencing ?
I have a pretty large one, keeping it pruned to 10 x 10, been in the ground for 3 years. Pretty little white flowers but has never fruited, any thoughts?

I had one in my back yard. It fruited in abundance but the fruit flies damaged the fruit before I could harvest them. I eventually eliminated the tree and gave up on it. Even though it is a pretty tree, I personally don't recommended it for central Florida.
Gonna need to get me a few of them…I like multiple fruiting per year stuff!! Great video Pete hope you had a great birthday!!
Does it taste like a real guava?
Are you going to propagate and sell it? Not much availability out there that I can see. Do you think it could grow in front of a south facing 10ft brick retaining wall in zone 8? I live in one of those god awful HOAs and am always looking for edible plants that are HOA acceptable.
A friend of mine gave me a volunteer seedling from Jupiter. It's growing very well in a container at my parent's home in Savannah.

I have chipped a tooth on tropical guava seeds. Are these equally hard (& therefore need to be processed and strained), or more like a Feijoa and harmless?

I had a frost 20° in silver springs FL and it didn't even hurt it. My Hawaiian guava took a hard hit.
