Here’s a glimpse of my small backyard vegetable garden here in Northern Illinois. Fall garden tour – Hardiness Zone 5B. I have two 4’x8′ raised garden beds. I apply the square-foot gardening method and grow many annuals and perennials in them. I also have a 7’x10′ container garden, where I grow most vegetables in grow bags. In addition, I have two 2’x4′ raised beds where I grow perennial herbs and strawberries.
