Nice video…I'll be growing the Mt Fuji Mix this year. This will be my first time growing morning glories. Will they grow up a smooth steel light pole or should I wrap the pole with some chicken wire?
The greenhouse is probably a good place to grow most speecies of morning Glory. I noticed the most northerly place you can grow sweet potato is Redding, California
I live in southeast texas. I planted some and they quickly climed up my tree. they came out in blue, white, and white with blue stripes đ
morning glory is legal in the united states
I grew them in Mexico–they never died. I had the same plants for over three years till I moved back to this country. I would say it depends on where you are. They can live and grow forever.
See my comment above yours.
So if I plant some morning glory seeds around my tree, approximately how long would it take before the flowers would show?
Thanks.
I would caution around planting any vine around a tree, especially fast growing, such as morning glory or trumpet vine. It could get out of hand and actually kill the tree. Flowers usually show after a month or so after sowing.
I planted Morning glory last week and the seedlings came out. My problem is today when i put them outside in the sun & after a few hours some of them are drying up the leafs and curling. Its like they are drying. What can this be? Now i gave them water again they where a bit dry đ Im so worried. Please help.
@gangstanikes Hmm, never grew mine indoors, just planted them straight outdoors. I would depend on where you live, if its warm out I would go ahead and take them outdoors to harden off for a few days or a couple of weeks (your choice) and then plant in the ground. Mine are already coming up and I planted mine on Easter sunday and I live in Kansas.
isnt morning glory for the main ingredient for LSD<<<<<
@ReinisGravitis 1/2" – 1" deep and 6" to 12" apart. I still have the back of my seed packets.
I've planted some morning glory, still young and fresh,I treat em as sacred… I wish I could do more haha
But I just cant wait for them to grow and bloom, and give me their seeds :-p
So Im wondering… how long does it take for them to grow and start blooming, can anyone tell at least how long?
Gorgeous flowers.
@woopwoopninjas He's 100% right. No documented case of making LSD from Heavenly Blues or any other variety. Ergot fungus is what is used.
@woopwoopninjas I am fully aware and so is he. You were the one who said he was half right about Morning NOT being the main ingredient for LSD. We both said Morning Glory makes LSA and Ergot makes LSD so I have no idea what you are talking about. Apparently you are not reading the comments but rather making random statements to who ever you see.
QUESTIION??? hi there, was wondering if i can clip the tops when they get to high or outa control, i tried that and it seemed to have killed the vine. i use them as a green wall for shade but when the reach the top they get really thick and heavy, so can i clip the tops of them, thanks
@kylebossify I'm not wrong. I know Morning Glory produces LSA, and I also known that LSD DOES NOT occur naturally. To acquire LSD, you must perform a series of steps and chemical reactions but it all begins with the Ergot fungus, which DOES NOT produce LSA.
You are cute, are you married?
Just a tip it isn't pronounced the way she says it in the video. It's more like IP-uh-me-uh
Are walls suitable for them to grow on?
I am responding to vaporizethis you can not it has to wrap around somthing.
I'm 11 years old and I'm starting to plant flowers by seed. I just jot a packet of Marigold seeds and Morning Glory seeds! They are really pretty!
Thanks! My name is Marcella but I just put Marcy so my username wouldn't be to long đ
If you attach a trellis to or right in front of the wall it would work. Just make sure when you are caring for the plant to train the vine to grow upwards otherwise it will just become a mound.
I wish she could talk louder
Hey lady, do you ever trip ballz off the seeds?
Morning glory plants are highly feasible and a wonderful addition to our garden. I would be more happy when you demonstrate its actual process of growing this kind of plant. But anyway, I am still grateful as I hear your valuable tips. Thank you!Â
This is very easy to grow! đ And the poorer the soil is the better they grow. In Japan, asagao has many colors, unfortunately in my country we only have the red/red violet one.
